"Hey, hey?" Ethan shouted into the phone twice, frowning as he brought the phone in front of his face, full of confusion.
"What’s wrong?" Charlotte caught so of the conversation and roughly understood the contents of the call. "They’re not filming the ad anymore?"
"Who knows, this Carter." Ethan tightened his brow, saying inexplicably, "He was so enthusiastic at the restaurant earlier, couldn’t wait to be the first. Now he says they’re not filming anymore, what’s he doing?"
"After Ophelia fild the perfu ad, her value skyrocketed. Shooting another ad for them now would be beneficial for them. Why did he change his mind so quickly?" Charlotte asked in confusion. "Who made him change his attitude so much?"
She didn’t need to ntion Charles Seymour’s na. With a little guidance, Ethan would know who’s behind this.
"It must be that little bastard!" Ethan cursed angrily, "He just can’t stand seeing us doing well!"
"He..." The phone rang before Ethan could finish his sentence. He picked up the call, "President Green, you... What? You’re not doing the ad either? No, you this... Hello, hello..."
Ethan was completely bewildered; what’s going on with these people?
"Not filming either?" Charlotte asked in surprise.
"Yeah." Ethan stared at his phone in confusion, unable to figure it out. "How much is that little bastard spending to make them all forgo such a big advantage?"
Charlotte smiled wryly, "He has plenty of money, and Sophie Wilson is also very wealthy. Their strong alliance, if they want to deal with Jas, it’s as easy as pie."
Hearing Charlotte’s words, Ethan’s anger surged uncontrollably.
"Ethan, maybe it’s better for Jas to co back. He can find work elsewhere too. If it really doesn’t work, we can use family money to help Jas start a small company, he can do just fine. Why provoke Old Mr. Seymour like this?" Charlotte’s retreat only fueled Ethan’s anger further.
"Why should we? That is Seymour Corporation, Jas is my son, why should Jas have to leave?" Ethan shouted angrily, "That little bastard is trying to ruin Seymour Corporation!"
"No, I have to tell Old Mr. Seymour!" Saying this, Ethan imdiately called Old Mr. Seymour.
As soon as the call connected, Ethan started shouting, "Dad, you have to talk to that little bastard, he..."
"Ethan, what are you trying to do?" Martin Seymour’s stern voice ca through, "Today is Dad’s birthday, don’t you think you’ve caused him enough trouble?"
"Big brother?" Ethan was surprised to hear his brother answer the call, "Why are you at Dad’s place?"
"If I weren’t here, would you want to make Dad angry to death? This late at night, what are you trying to do?" Martin asked angrily. It was already eleven o’clock, why was Ethan disturbing the old man so late?
"Big brother, is it my fault? That little bastard can’t stand seeing do well, can’t stand doing anything for Seymour Corporation." Ethan felt aggrieved, "I worked hard to maintain good relationships with those regular clients, and that little bastard just had to ruin it, not letting them shoot the ad, they..."
"Do you have any evidence?" Martin wasn’t one to listen to one-sided stories.
