"Brother Fletcher." Ophelia Wilson lifted her head with difficulty, seemingly wanting to say sothing, but after hesitating for a long ti, she couldn’t utter another word.
Ophelia Wilson knew that Albert Fletcher surely understood how that endorsent ca about, and anything she said now would be pointless.
The more she tries to explain, the darker it gets, so she might as well say nothing at all.
Albert Fletcher stood there silently, looking at Ophelia Wilson’s face full of grievances and pitifulness, his heart was cold. Even at this point, Ophelia Wilson could stay calm and feign innocence. It’s no wonder she once audaciously pretended to be the savior of his parents without flinching.
Ophelia Wilson, does she think this is over?
He absolutely wouldn’t let her get away with this!
Jas Reed drove the car up, and Ophelia Wilson hurriedly ran towards it. Through the car window, Jas Reed waved gratefully at Albert Fletcher before speeding away.
Ophelia Wilson sat in Jas Reed’s car, her heart pounding like a drum, uncertain of what to do.
"Ophelia." Jas Reed spoke, startling Ophelia so she shuddered, looking at him blankly and nervously, her eyes wet like an abandoned cub, looking extrely pitiful.
"You should stay at my place." Jas Reed said in a low voice.
"What?" Ophelia had anticipated Jas Reed’s questioning and criticism, but didn’t expect this outco.
"Jas, you, you want to stay at your place... I, I..." Ophelia began to cry, how could Jas be so kind?
"I believe this situation is definitely not your intention." Jas Reed affird, "Did soone force you?"
The video captures everything clearly; Jas Reed is no fool. He easily recognized Ophelia Wilson’s involvent with Director Lewis.
It would be too fake to deny this fact at this point.
Therefore, he steadfastly believed Ophelia Wilson had her reasons, as he is a loving and considerate fiancé.
"Yes." Ophelia replied tearfully.
"Who?" Jas Reed asked through clenched teeth, his eyes focused on the road, but his hands on the steering wheel were gripping it fiercely, as if trying to break it.
"Charles Seymour, Sophie Wilson!" Ophelia bit her lip and forcefully uttered those nas.
"Who?" Jas Reed asked in astonishnt. Ophelia ntioning these two was truly unexpected for Jas.
"If they hadn’t been pressuring you into an unstable position at Seymour Corporation, I wouldn’t have been so desperate to make a na." Ophelia cried even more, "If I beco famous and step onto the international stage, I could help you, and prevent Charles Seymour from bullying you."
Ophelia sobbed uncontrollably, prompting Jas to quickly park the car along a quiet roadside, embracing her with concern and saying: "Why are you so foolish?"
"I don’t want to see your years of hard work go to waste! Jas, I love you!" Ophelia cried beyond control.
"I know, I know." Jas nodded repeatedly, pulling Ophelia into his arms, "Ophelia, you’ve suffered. I won’t let you leave, I will definitely marry you!"
"Jas, you..." Ophelia looked at Jas in disbelief, then shook her head, "No, no, I already..."
"Ophelia, just listen to on this." Jas insisted, "Co ho with , I’ll arrange to have soone pick up your mother. You can’t stay with the Wilson Clan anymore."
