Old Mr. Wilson was trembling with anger, repeatedly muttering, "How outrageous, how outrageous!"
"Get out, our Wilson Clan won’t shelter you shaless mother and daughter!" Old Mrs. Wilson finally shouted out the words she had been holding in her heart for days.
"Do you think I care about living in your house?" Chaya Davis replied with a cold sneer, giving Old Mrs. Wilson a mocking look, "Don’t forget, who was it that begged Ophelia to co back to the Wilson Clan?"
"You..." Old Mrs. Wilson clutched her chest in anger, pointing at the door and shouting, "Get out! Just get out!"
Chaya Davis chuckled coldly, "Do you think I’m willing to stay here?"
At that mont, Chaya Davis’s phone rang. After answering, she said, "...Okay, I’m here, co in, I’ll open the door for you."
With that, she hung up the phone and walked out.
Old Mr. and Mrs. Wilson exchanged a puzzled glance.
Soon, Chaya Davis ca back with so n, "Follow , the luggage is upstairs, just bring it down for ."
"Alright." Two n quickly followed Chaya Davis upstairs, and soon ca down carrying large and small boxes, placing them in the car at the door.
Chaya Davis was the last to walk out, smiling triumphantly at Old Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, "Do you think I want to live in your house? See this? My son-in-law has already sent people to pick up."
After she saw the shocked expressions on Old Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, she strutted out of the Wilson Clan with her head held high, her high heels clicking as she left.
Her daughter was reliable enough to text her, saying that soone from the Seymour Family would co to pick her up, so she packed her luggage in advance.
After arriving at the Seymour Family, the room was already prepared.
Looking at the Seymour Family’s villa, Chaya Davis felt a wave of satisfaction; this was much better than the Wilson Clan.
"Ophelia, what does Jas an?" Chaya Davis asked with concern, knowing that whether they could continue staying at the Seymour Family depended entirely on Jas.
"Jas ans... we’ll get married after the New Year." Ophelia Wilson’s face blossod with a sweet, shy smile. She really hadn’t expected Jas to be so deeply in love with her.
"Great, great! Marriage is good!" Chaya Davis smiled with satisfaction, "Look, what did Mom prepare for you?"
"No need, Jas said he would handle it, we don’t have to worry about anything." ntioning Jas Reed, Ophelia Wilson felt nothing but happiness.
——
"I don’t agree!" Ethan Seymour exploded the mont he heard, "I tolerated you bringing them here. And now you want to marry Ophelia Wilson? I’m telling you, no way!"
"Jas, marriage is not child’s play, don’t be impulsive." This ti, Charlotte Reed stood by Ethan Seymour, much to his relief.
"Mom and Dad, Ophelia and I have been engaged for a while, marriage is just a matter of ti. Now, I just want to have the wedding a bit earlier." Jas Reed said, "With Ophelia like this, I absolutely can’t abandon her. If I leave her now, what would happen to her?"
"And you’re thinking about her? Have you thought about what would happen to ?" Ethan Seymour was nearly furious with Jas Reed, slapping his own face as he said, "Your father has lost all face; haven’t you thought about , thought about Seymour Corporation?"
