Sophie Wilson smiled at Hayley Cole and asked, "When did Miss Cole develop the special ability to read people’s minds?"
"Sophie Wilson, stop beating around the bush with here. Was it you who did the online stuff?" Hayley Cole questioned coldly.
"Sophie Wilson, I’m telling you, don’t even think about denying it! You..."
"Yeah, it was ." Sophie Wilson admitted frankly, leaving Hayley Cole’s threatening words stuck in her throat, almost choking her.
Sophie Wilson watched the suddenly coughing Hayley Cole and kindly advised, "Miss Cole, be careful."
"Sophie Wilson, you finally admitted it!" Hayley Cole pounded her chest hard, finally stopping her uncomfortable coughing.
"Why wouldn’t I admit it?" Sophie Wilson looked at Hayley Cole in confusion, "I’m doing a good deed, after all. There’s no way I’m noble enough to do good without leaving my na."
"A good deed? How dare you say that was a good deed?" Hayley Cole was so furious she wanted to slap Sophie Wilson, "You actually made Jas Reed marry Ophelia Wilson, you..."
"Jas Reed has always wanted to marry Ophelia Wilson, but his father disagreed with it. Didn’t I just do him a favor and help him achieve his wish?" Sophie Wilson innocently asked Hayley Cole, "Isn’t that a good deed?"
"How is that a good deed? Soone like Ophelia Wilson, does she even deserve Jas Reed?" Hayley Cole barely controlled her emotions, or she would have shouted.
"How doesn’t she deserve him?" Sophie Wilson dissatisfiedly frowned and said, "Miss Cole, this is not right. What era is this and you still have such strong prejudices?"
"Jas Reed loves Ophelia Wilson, and Ophelia Wilson truly loves Jas Reed as well. Why can’t lovers get married?" Sophie Wilson furrowed her brows tight and asked Hayley Cole, "Miss Cole, you’re being unfair, do you really want to break them up?"
"Sophie Wilson, stop making it sound like such a noble cause! Aren’t you just trying to disgust Jas Reed?" Hayley Cole got smart this ti, refusing to follow Sophie Wilson’s words and instead raised the question she had already considered to confront Sophie Wilson.
"Is it that Jas Reed doesn’t genuinely want to marry Ophelia Wilson? So he’s been acting the whole ti? Pretending to be deeply in love?" Sophie Wilson exclaid, covering her mouth, her eyes wide open, "Oh no, he’s such a good actor. I have to expose him online!"
"Who said Jas Reed is acting?" Hayley Cole shouted angrily, "Stop talking nonsense!"
If Sophie Wilson posted all these ssy things, wouldn’t Jas Reed’s reputation be ruined?
"Oh... Are you saying I’m talking nonsense?" Sophie Wilson asked Hayley Cole curiously, "Are you saying Jas Reed genuinely wants to marry Ophelia Wilson?"
This answer seed like an icy lump stuck in Hayley Cole’s throat, blocking her breath and chilling her to the core.
But, considering Jas Reed’s reputation, she had to nod with difficulty, "Yes, Jas is genuine."
"Exactly!" Sophie Wilson had been waiting for Hayley Cole to say this, she asked smiling, "Then pushing things online to help Jas Reed marry his beloved Ophelia Wilson, what’s wrong with that?"
Hayley Cole opened her mouth, but couldn’t utter a single word of rebuttal.
