Throughout the journey, Jas Reed wore a happy smile, while Ophelia Wilson gazed at him affectionately.
Upon reaching the entrance of the civil affairs bureau, Jas looked around. Besides the dia, there were also Ophelia’s fans, who even held up banners.
The mont these fans saw them get out of the car, they excitedly shouted, "Goddess, you must be happy!"
"Jas Reed, you must treat our goddess well!"
"Wishing you everlasting happiness together!"
These blessings ca one after another. Jas smiled at them, while Ophelia was so moved that she kept bowing and thanking her fans.
Aware such a scene would occur, the security was sufficiently arranged, ensuring there would be no chaos.
Once inside the civil affairs bureau, not many dia could enter; only specific few could film, without disrupting normal work operations.
Earlier outside, Jas was quite confident, but as he walked into the civil affairs bureau, his heart began to sink.
What’s going on?
Shouldn’t it have already exploded by now?
If the person threatening him didn’t release the video, the people he arranged would post the video online.
Why is there still no movent?
"Jas, what’s wrong?" Ophelia linked arms with Jas, clearly sensing his body was sowhat stiff, as if sothing was amiss.
"I’m a bit nervous," Jas said with a smile.
Is that person crazy or what?
Where is the video?
Why hasn’t it been posted online?
Wasn’t it supposed to be posted when he left ho?
He wants people to know that it’s not that he doesn’t want to marry Ophelia, but that Ophelia isn’t worthy of marrying him.
What’s happening now?
Ophelia, imrsed in sweet happiness, was unaware of the turbulence in Jas’s heart. With the civil affairs bureau now in sight, she was already anticipating filling out the form to get their certificate.
"Actually, I’m also a bit nervous." Ophelia leaned on Jas’s shoulder, said shyly.
A nearby dia reporter jokingly remarked, "It’s normal for newlyweds to be nervous, you might be even more nervous at your wedding."
Ophelia pursed her lips and smiled bashfully, "I’m not even this nervous when I’m acting."
"Ophelia, it’s your turn, ti to get the form." A reporter glanced and quickly said, as they eagerly awaited that mont when Jas and Ophelia would receive their certificate.
That would be the highlight of their live coverage.
"Okay." Ophelia nodded and walked over, only taking one step before realizing Jas hadn’t moved.
"Jas?" Ophelia asked in confusion.
Jas wiped his palm on his trousers, awkwardly smiled, "I really am a bit nervous."
"Understandable for the groom, we all get it!" Not only did the dia reporters laugh, but even the civil affairs bureau staff smiled kindly. They’ve seen many couples, the closer to the critical mont, the more nervous they get, so even fill out the forms incorrectly multiple tis.
"Don’t be nervous, we’ll do this together," Ophelia encouraged.
Jas, with a smile on his face and happiness in his nod, internally cursed continually, what’s going on?
Why hasn’t the video exploded?
Jas was pulled by Ophelia to the table to fill out the form.
The pen, seemingly ordinary, felt as heavy as a thousand pounds to Jas, and he could barely hold it. The words he wrote were all crooked, looking quite terrible.
On the contrary, Ophelia filled hers out quite happily, finishing soon enough.
