Jas Reed looked at Hayley Cole for a mont, then shook his head under her expectant gaze, "No."
"Why not?" Hayley Cole asked in shock.
"Miss Cole and I are just ordinary friends, this... is too much trouble for Miss Cole." As soon as Jas finished speaking, Hayley Cole was almost driven mad with anger, "We’re just ordinary friends?"
Jas was bewildered, "Could it be... that I’m not worthy of Miss Cole?"

When Jas started speaking, his voice was so hoarse and unpleasant that even he was startled.
He quickly cleared his throat and tried again, sounding a bit better, "I know there’s no chance with Ophelia, but I still love her..."
"Are you saying you’ll never like, love, or marry another woman for the rest of your life because of her?" Hayley Cole was stunned, unwillingly asking in anger.
"I don’t know, maybe in the future I will, but for now..." Jas’s eyes shifted, avoiding Hayley Cole’s passionate gaze.
"Jas Reed, I’m telling you, I’ve fallen for you and I will definitely win you over!" Hayley Cole declared forcefully.
Jas stared at Hayley Cole in disbelief, his eyes full of astonishnt.
Hayley Cole smiled confidently, "Jas Reed, you are mine, and I will never give up!"
After saying this, she released Jas and then walked out of the private room.
She needed to think carefully about how to win over Jas Reed. Since Jas had been busy recently with bidding matters,... perhaps she could help him.
Thinking about Jas’s grateful and admiring gaze after he won the bid, Hayley Cole felt her heart racing uncontrollably.
