"What’s wrong?" Lucy Wells walked to the balcony and asked.
He was fine just a mont ago; how co after a phone call, he looked so dispirited?
"Lucy..." Kai Bright rested his head on Lucy’s shoulder and lanted pitifully, "Your boyfriend got bullied, so poor."
Hearing Kai Bright’s tone, Lucy knew it wasn’t anything serious. She smiled gently and asked, "What’s wrong?"
"Sophie’s boyfriend got jealous because I stole his mont to shine. Your boyfriend is so pitiful that he needs a kiss to feel better." Kai Bright started speaking playfully, making Lucy laugh helplessly, with her cheeks slightly flushed.
"Stop it." Lucy jokingly scolded.
"Bullied by my buddy and disliked by my own girlfriend... I’m such a failure... so miserable... so pitiful..." Kai Bright said sorrowfully, clutching his heart like a delicate lady.
If it were a frail woman, it would be a charming sight, but the problem is Kai is a big guy, albeit not overly muscular, but with broad shoulders and a straight back, making this scene... quite embarrassing.
Still, Lucy was amused by his antics, giggling nonstop. She cautiously checked the living room to make sure her grandmother wasn’t watching this side.
Then she quickly tiptoed and pecked Kai Bright’s cheek, a fast touch-and-go.
"Ah ah ah!!! I feel the power of love, resurrected on the spot!" Kai Bright raised his arms and, like a bodybuilder, showed off his muscles, proving his strength.

"Lu..." Emma Wells didn’t finish her word before Old Mrs. Wells stopped her. Facing Emma’s puzzled look, Old Mrs. Wells grinned and pointed to the balcony.
Emma glanced over and saw Kai Bright on the small balcony, not sure what he was saying to Lucy, striking various poses like a bodybuilding competition. Her daughter, anwhile, was laughing uncontrollably.
Emma Wells smiled thinly, "These two kids really have a great relationship."
As a mother, the biggest hope is for her child to be happy.
Lucy found such a boyfriend who cherishes her and always makes her laugh; Emma Wells was deeply relieved.
Actually, the standard for finding a partner is simple; no need to ntion material and spiritual compatibility. As long as you’re happy together, it’s all good.
If you’re not happy, no matter how perfect the match is, there are issues.

Emma Wells was amused by Kai Bright’s exaggerated eating and words, "Eat more if you like it."
"Yeah, yeah." Kai Bright continued eating while also serving food to Lucy Wells.
Seeing this, Emma Wells was even more satisfied.
He served all of Lucy’s favorite dishes.
Only one thing puzzled Emma Wells; she was curious as she watched Kai Bright dismantle the fried chicken wings before giving them to Lucy.
