"Hayley?" Jas Reed opened the door, looking surprised at Hayley Cole standing at the entrance. He asked in astonishnt, "What are you doing here?"
"I ca to see you." Hayley Cole stood at the doorway with a beaming smile, "And, I brought you sothing to eat."
With that, Hayley Cole raised the items in her hand, "See how thoughtful I am."
"This is a training camp, why did you co here?" Jas Reed was still in shock, seemingly unable to process it for a mont.
"Why couldn’t I co over?" Hayley Cole laughed, with an unmistakable pride in her cheerful voice, "My dad is the chairman, my brother is the manager, and even my sister is the vice president."
Hayley Cole deliberately spoke loudly and slowly, listing out all her connections.
The acoustics in this place did poorly at blocking sound, not to ntion, so people might intentionally eavesdrop through the door.
"I can co and go freely here." Hayley Cole laughed, "I’m just worried about whether you won the bid, so I ca to take a look. Aren’t you going to invite in?"
As if just realizing it, Jas Reed was about to step aside but then paused suddenly, "Hayley, isn’t this inappropriate? I’m the only one in the room."
Old Mrs. Wilson and Benjamin Walton shared a room, but Jas was alone in his.
"What’s inappropriate? We’re close, aren’t we? Haven’t I stayed at your ho for a few days before?" Hayley Cole said, squeezing past Jas into the room without waiting for his reaction.
Jas Reed found himself helpless against Hayley Cole and sighed softly in resignation.
In fact, he was quite happy inside.
Earlier, he deliberately talked to Hayley Cole in the hallway to let others from the companies know that he had soone on his side at the training camp!
"Dad, Miss Cole entered Jas’s room," Benjamin Walton closed the gap in the door and walked back to say in a low voice.
"Hmm." Old Mrs. Wilson nodded slightly, not making any comnts.
"It seems Miss Cole and Jas have a really good relationship. Our chances of winning the bid are definitely above eighty percent." Benjamin Walton said with a smile, "It’s all thanks to Jas’s help this ti."
Old Mrs. Wilson nodded; during the bid opening this morning, he had analyzed it carefully.
The other companies’ prices were higher than theirs, so ridiculously so.
More importantly, to his knowledge, several companies didn’t even participate in the bid, effectively giving up the opportunity.
The companies that did participate were mostly trying to curry favor with Hayley Cole.
Judging by their bid prices, they were clearly out. With such a strong advantage, it would indeed be unusual if they didn’t win the bid.
"We’re fortunate to have you this ti." Old Mrs. Wilson gave Benjamin Walton an appreciative smile, "If it weren’t for you, Jas wouldn’t have given this opportunity to Wilson Corporation."
"Dad, don’t say that. We’re family. Of course, if I have an opportunity, I would think of the family business." Benjamin Walton replied with a smile, "Besides, Jas is not a heartless person. He and Ophelia had a close relationship in the past. This ti, I’m just temporarily managing Wilson Corporation, and since Jas and Wilson Corporation have cooperated, he’s still thinking of old ties."
"Jas knows I won’t stay long at Wilson Corporation." Benjamin Walton said with a smile, "Once we win the bid, I’ll return to my company; Wilson Corporation should be managed by you, Dad."
"Let’s discuss it after this project is completed." Old Mrs. Wilson waved his hand.
