"Happy and unhappy, just like that," Mason Wilson muttered, "For now, Charles Seymour is doing quite well."
Clarissa Taylor secretly laughed at this awkward Mason Wilson; that’s what dads do, they just tend to see their son-in-law unfavorably. Back when she was getting married, her dad also didn’t take a liking to Mason.
The relationship smoothed out a few years after she and Mason got married.
As soon as Sophie Wilson left the room, she hopped excitedly onto Charles Seymour at the handwashing station: "My dear Mr. Seymour, how co you’re so good to ?"
He wouldn’t let her suffer even a bit.
Even if her mom said sothing to her, he’d take it upon himself.
Right now, she’s so happy, she feels like she’s overflowing with pink bubbles, she’s almost bouncing with joy.
Charles Seymour looked at Sophie Wilson in confusion and asked, "If I’m not good to you, who would I be good to?"
"Yeah, just be good to !" Sophie Wilson happily smacked a loud kiss on Charles Seymour’s lips, "I’ll be good to you too."
"You’re very good to ." Charles Seymour’s simple words filled Sophie’s heart with happiness; turns out happiness is really just this simple, it’s wonderful.
Such a perfect atmosphere, and yet soone just had to co and spoil it.
"Cuddling in public places, what do you look like?"
The sarcastic voice made Sophie Wilson furrow her eyebrows; she turned and saw Erie Wilson standing not far away, along with Old Mrs. Wilson beside her, full of disapproval.
Sophie Wilson snorted, jumped off Charles Seymour, and took his hand, saying, "Co on, let’s go wash our hands and go back to eat."
Of course, Charles Seymour had no objections; as for those two annoying folks, he just pretended they didn’t exist.
"Sophie Wilson, you stop right there!" Erie Wilson stood angrily in front of Sophie, blocking her path, "There’s an elder here, and you don’t even bother to greet. Do you have any manners?"
Sophie Wilson smiled slightly and firmly said, "Nope."
Her straightforward words made Erie Wilson’s face change, it turned pale in an instant.
"Such an uncultured thing!" Erie Wilson cursed, "What kind of upbringing is this from?"
"Can’t help it, inherited the Wilson Clan’s terrible genes. Usually they don’t act up, but when I encounter you, they just flare up," Sophie Wilson laughed cheerfully at Erie, "If you didn’t appear in front of , I wouldn’t act like this either."
"Indeed, there’s always a trigger for everything."
"Sophie Wilson, don’t go too far," Old Mrs. Wilson looked at her daughter who was clutching her chest in anger and glared fiercely at Sophie Wilson.
She supported Erie Wilson and said, "Erie is your aunt, is this how you talk to your aunt and grandmother?"
"Aunt, grandmother?" Sophie Wilson looked at them amusedly and asked, "Did I acknowledge that?"
Old Mrs. Wilson was so angry she reached out and pointed furiously at Sophie Wilson, her finger trembling: "You..."
"Just because my fiancé has power, influence, and money, don’t co rushing to cling. It’s really tacky. You are the wife of a big enterprise’s boss, acting like this is embarrassing." Sophie Wilson couldn’t care less how furious Old Mrs. Wilson got; after all, they ca to provoke her.
She hadn’t gone looking for them, which was already magnanimous enough. Yet these folks just couldn’t help but co to her, isn’t this just asking for trouble?
