When it was dark, Mo Beihan brought Gu Qingyao to Jin Jiang Restaurant for dinner. They did not take a private room but reserved a place on the second-floor gallery. They could see the scene downstairs from where they were seated.
Mo Beihan was very attentive and kept selecting food for Gu Qingyao and asking her to have more.
Gu Qingyao rolled her eyes. She leaned her head on her hand and ignored him.
Mo Beihan continued to smile brightly. He had just taken advantage of her. He had no choice but to coax her.
Gu Qingyao looked about as she sipped her drink. Coincidentally, she saw Lin Dongxu and Qin Si having dinner downstairs. Her eyes brightened, and she gestured for Mo Beihan to look.
The Jin Jiang Restaurant layout was relatively modern. There were private rooms upstairs. The downstairs portion of the restaurant also had some partitions, but these were quite low and only slightly higher than the chair backs. This gave the feeling of privacy without being stifling.
