She gently leaned against Ah Ze’s chest once more, in a place where even the lights seed unable to reach, yet their bodies appeared to be draped in the glow of ten thousand stars.

At this mont, the world beca extraordinarily quiet.

Gu Qiaoqiao let out a long breath, lightly embracing her man, who carried the familiar, clear scent she knew so well.

As she looked up, the man’s starry eyes shone with a compelling light.

That light seed to burn her entire being.

Her heartbeat raced, and so did her breathing.

Slender fingers gently stroked her jet-black long hair, caressing it bit by bit.

He slightly lowered his head, the clear scent mixed with a hint of intoxication and a trace of tenderness.

A crescent moon hung on the top of the crabapple tree in the courtyard, the moonlight gently enveloping them, as if sothing had isolated them from the world, creating a world of their own.

It also seed as if all the sounds had drifted far away, making this place extrely quiet.

The two of them remained locked in each other’s gaze, intensely focused, their eyes holding too much that others could never comprehend. Only they themselves knew.

How to describe this feeling?

As if they had crossed mountains and rivers, endured the vicissitudes and trials of several lifetis, to reach this mont today.

And on Gu Qiaoqiao’s fair little face, under the light, glowed a faint pink halo, appearing even more beautiful than a painting.

His eyes like the deep sea, with boundless waves surging within.

Qin Yize’s gaze was profound...

Gu Qiaoqiao felt a bit flustered, and she spoke nervously, "Ah... Ze... I... I’m a little scared..."

"But what you said just now, you haven’t forgotten, have you?" His voice was hoarse and low.

"I, I... I didn’t say anything, did I?" Gu Qiaoqiao, embarrassed by her own coquettish and weak voice, denied it stamringly.

The starlight in Qin Yize’s eyes flickered as he suddenly leaned close to Gu Qiaoqiao’s ear and softly asked, "Qiaoqiao, will you be my true wife?"

His voice, imbued with tender affection, was nonetheless commanding and resolute, carrying an irresistible montum.

Gu Qiaoqiao couldn’t help but nod.

Joy surfaced in Qin Yize’s eyes, but just as he was about to act, suddenly, a barrage of firecrackers exploded loudly.

Subsequently, it seed like they could hear cheers from the crowd outside the house.

Qin Yize was startled awake in an instant.

He paused for a mont, taking a deep breath.

His eyes carried an apologetic frustration, his expression shifting back and forth.

He had been sowhat reckless.

Did Gu Qiaoqiao not understand? Didn’t he understand?

Even if there were no issues, in the eyes of outsiders, they were divorced, without even a marriage certificate...

He was truly absurd!

How could he act so recklessly!

But when Gu Qiaoqiao lifted her misty eyes to look at him, the slightly romantic tenderness still made Qin Yize’s heart race.

He clenched his hand tightly.

Their gazes t, both carrying a hint of intoxication.

After a while, Qin Yize still embraced Gu Qiaoqiao, adjusted his breathing, and softly spoke to break the silence of the corner, his voice tinged with apology, "Qiaoqiao, I... I’m sorry..."

Gu Qiaoqiao leaned on his shoulder, her lips curled slightly, and after a few breaths, she softly replied, "Ah Ze, I don’t mind..."

After all, it was she who teased first.

Her Ah Ze not only loved her but respected her. Though her heart harbored a faint sense of disappointnt, she was still filled with joy.

Love and respect are what make feelings last long and far.
