Capítulo 1480: Chapter 1480: This Little Girl Might Change His Fate

Gu Qiaoqiao stood in front of the door, scanned it briefly, and then realized she could understand the symbols ford by the arrangent of copper nails on the door. This wasn’t random; it was a talisman ant to protect the ho and attract fortune from all directions.

Gu Qiaoqiao looked at the sky; the sun had already started to set in the west. She reached out her hand and began to knock on the door.

Before long, the door opened. A teenage boy with a round face and bright eyes appeared. He curiously glanced at Gu Qiaoqiao before asking, “Are you looking for my master?”

Gu Qiaoqiao nodded, “Yes, I want to ask your master sothing.”

“Then please co in.”

The boy didn’t ask many questions, as it was evident that many people sought out Huang Tiekou regularly.

Gu Qiaoqiao followed the boy into the yard.

Standing in the yard, Gu Qiaoqiao noticed it was indeed a Feng Shui sanctuary, especially under the wisteria trellis where the Spiritual Energy was the most abundant.

The boy led Gu Qiaoqiao quickly to the main house with its doors open. There, she saw an elderly man leisurely drinking tea on the sofa. Though his hair was white, his face was rosy, and despite sitting, he seed to be in good health.

When he saw Gu Qiaoqiao enter, his expression darkened slightly. He slowly put down his teacup, and Gu Qiaoqiao stood at the entrance, staring fixedly at Huang Tiekou. Just as the boy was about to speak, the old man raised a hand and said, “Ah Li, you go out first. I have so things to say to this young lady.”

The boy seed to understand and smiled, nodding before leaving the room and closing the door, leaving only Gu Qiaoqiao and Huang Tiekou.

Once Ah Li’s footsteps faded away, the elder stood up and carefully stared at Gu Qiaoqiao, his expression growing solemn.

This little girl was full of murderous and malevolent energy, and he had to be careful.

Gu Qiaoqiao didn’t have ti for riddles and directly asked, “Huang Yu is your disciple, and the Spirit Talisman thrown from the fishing boat was yours, right?”

Huang Tiekou looked at Gu Qiaoqiao and sighed, realizing he couldn’t deny it. Not only was Gu Qiaoqiao from the Mystic Sect, but even ordinary people knew Huang Yu was at the police station.

He had been waiting for Gu Qiaoqiao to co.

However, he indeed didn’t know what Huang Yu was doing; that child’s fate was odd, and he didn’t dare to predict or inquire further.

No one had co to investigate him yet, suggesting Huang Yu hadn’t implicated him. The girl before him was from the Mystic Sect and wouldn’t involve him in ordinary people’s affairs, but what was wrong with that Spirit Talisman? Wasn’t it unused?

Huang Tiekou pondered for a mont, then slowly spoke, “That Spirit Talisman is indeed mine, nad Shock Thunder Talisman, drawn by my master years ago. I can’t replicate it. Huang Yu should have told you its purpose. Why are you looking for if it didn’t cause any harm? Because it’s unsuitable for use on water surfaces, as I’ve calculated, no one suffered any casualties. Why are you here?”

“Does this Shock Thunder Talisman have other functions?” Gu Qiaoqiao asked again.

Huang Tiekou shook his head, about to say sothing, his eyes flickered slightly before he said, “It’s basically a life-saving talisman, capable of reducing soone to ashes instantly. But on the sea surface, it’s useless.”

Gu Qiaoqiao closely observed Huang Tiekou’s face, not missing his fleeting expressions. His evasive gaze made her suspicious, and her calm face turned icy.

Standing before the old man, she didn’t intend to hide her strength. Dealing with Mystic Sect mbers with reason or emotions was nonsense; they historically submitted to the strong.

Without hesitation, Gu Qiaoqiao perford Sky-drawing Talisman. Without any preparation from Huang Tiekou, she completed three Spirit Talismans in the blink of an eye. Then, three Ice Arrow Talismans ford in mid-air, the chilling arrows ready to pierce Huang Tiekou.

Huang Tiekou was stunned by Gu Qiaoqiao’s sudden turn. He was genuinely shocked. As soon as she acted, he knew he wasn’t as skilled as her. He hadn’t expected this little girl could perform Sky-drawing Talisman—a lifelong obsession of his master that went unrealized.

Moreover, it was beyond his dreams.

Yet, what astonished him was that this little girl perford it without hesitation, the talismans drawn in the blink of an eye. The surrounding air turned cold suddenly, and his face changed dramatically. He backed up, pointing at Gu Qiaoqiao, forcing himself to speak, “What are you trying to do? Kill ? You should know I wasn’t involved in anything.”

“Were you really uninvolved?”

Gu Qiaoqiao’s voice was calm but cold, letting the three Ice Arrow Talismans hover threateningly above Huang Tiekou.

Word by word, Gu Qiaoqiao continued, “These three ice swords can penetrate your body, instantly freezing you to death, leaving no trace. A coroner would rely conclude you froze. No one would believe ice arrows pierced your body, so you’d better be honest. I don’t want to fight with elderly folk…”

Huang Tiekou had never been threatened by the young. His face was pale, turning slightly blue, but he was experienced and aware that he was relatively safe even if fortune tellers couldn’t predict their fate. Nonetheless, caution was necessary, as a wrong move could alter his destiny.

Sotis, fate is not constant.

Clutching a Spirit Talisman, he knew it was futile against Gu Qiaoqiao, left with unsettling fear. He forced out, “I really didn’t lie to you. That Shock Thunder Talisman in the water beca useless. What I didn’t say earlier is if it’s on land with wind, it may ignite a raging fire.”

Gu Qiaoqiao observed his expressions closely, then moved her fingers, and the three ice arrows transford into droplets within monts, falling to the floor and vanishing without a trace.

What the old man said was true, Gu Qiaoqiao could confirm that.

Gu Qiaoqiao pondered briefly, then asked, “Are those its only functions?”

Huang Tiekou vigorously nodded, his expression sincere, “Yes, that’s all there is.”
