So, the Zhou family truly is blessed.

All of it could be called coincidence, or it could be said to be the work of fate.

However, for now, it’s impossible to unearth these jades, but everyone’s view of the basent has changed.

To say it’s a Golden Mountain is not an exaggeration. Even if the Zhou family goes bankrupt in the future, the jades in this basent could help them rise again.

But all this is thanks to Gu Junbai and Gu Qiaoqiao.

Zhou Luoan hesitated to speak.

He wanted to express his gratitude with these things, but seeing how the two of them seed indifferent, not placing the full room of jades in their eyes, he felt a bit vulgar and inconsiderate.

These things were commonplace for Gu Qiaoqiao, because the Gu family already has a large jade mine in Xinjiang, and it’s said they’ve discovered another one. Besides, the Gu family is the most famous jade family in Huaxia, so these things are also nothing new to them.

Moreover, according to current laws, they can’t take any of these things back.

To talk about what is already known would be too hypocritical.

Zhou Luoan thought for a mont, exchanged a look with his wife, and both nodded.

Their long relationship made them in sync; they understood each other with just a gesture or a glance, needing no further explanation in words.

It was already three in the morning.

No matter how happy they were, they couldn’t just stay up till dawn. Gu Qiaoqiao was worried Old Master Qin couldn’t take it, so she supported him to his bedroom, infusing him with so Spiritual Energy through her fingers as she walked, helping him rest sooner.

For the elderly, even a five-hour sleep could solve many problems, and with the boost from her Spiritual Power, it would be doubled.

Gu Junbai and Ling Nan’s room had been prepared, but since Ling Nan and Xiao Bai hadn’t returned, it remained empty.

Though Gu Junbai didn’t necessarily need to rest, he was used to the cycle of day and night, so the large Ancient Castle fell silent once more.

At this mont, there was a faint hint of dawn breaking on the horizon.

When Gu Qiaoqiao woke up, it was already past nine in the morning. Upon entering the hall, she unexpectedly received a call from Qin Yize. At this ti in Huaxia Country, it should be the early morning. Why wasn’t Qin Yize resting?

Gu Qiaoqiao voiced her query.

On the other end, Qin Yize spoke softly, his voice a bit hoarse, sounding as if he hadn’t slept for days, "I just got back from a trip."

"Then you should rest right away," Gu Qiaoqiao urged with concern.

"No rush, I’ll rest in a bit." Qin Yize paused, then continued, "Qiaoqiao, how are you and Great Grandfather there?"

They hadn’t spoken on the phone for over a week, and their worry was evident. Even without seeing each other, across the ocean and through the phone lines, Qin Yize’s concern was almost palpable.

Gu Qiaoqiao’s heart softened, "Great Grandfather and I are both doing well, and so is the Zhou family."

"Qiaoqiao, I saw Chang Qing a few days ago. He’s very concerned about you, and I told him you’re doing great."

"Is there anything unusual with Chang Qing now?" Gu Qiaoqiao asked hesitantly.

"No, everything’s just fine. His graduation thesis and research results won awards, and he received substantial bonuses and beca a formal researcher at the National Security Research Institute."

It was already late July, almost August. Gu Qiaoqiao understood Chang Qing’s concerns very well and felt a wave of warmth in her heart, "When you see Chang Qing, tell him I’m doing great, and I’ll bring him gifts when I’m back and visit him."

Qin Yize pondered for a mont. Though deep down, he wasn’t keen on Qiaoqiao interacting with Chang Qing, considering that the current Chang Qing was indeed dangerous.

If Chang Qing, trapped in spaceti, could break through the spatial constraints to co here, things might beco uncontrollable.

Because he couldn’t be sure of what Chang Qing in another ti might be like after enduring solitude.

He’s not Gu Qiaoqiao; he’s Qin Yize, so his view of Chang Qing was very rational and cold, even slightly harsh. But he had to maintain so caution regarding Chang Qing.

He couldn’t blindly trust Chang Qing like his silly girl did.

However, Qin Yize kept these thoughts to himself. Gu Qiaoqiao was oceans away, and his work was undergoing major reforms, with many tasks requiring his personal attention. He hadn’t slept for three days and nights, but hearing Qiaoqiao’s voice chased away his fatigue, and he nodded gently, "Sure, I’ll tell him when I see him."

The sounds coming through the phone were subtly different from usual, familiar yet carrying a slight sense of unfamiliarity, invoking a pang of longing for Qin Yize in Gu Qiaoqiao’s heart. She glanced around the hall, finding it empty, and asked tenderly, "Ah Ze, do you miss ?"

"I do, very much," her man’s deep, seductive voice swirled in her ear, and Gu Qiaoqiao felt her heart turn into a marshmallow, soft and sweet. She unconsciously played with the phone cord, a sweet smile gracing her face, "Ah Ze, I miss you too."

"Mm, I know." Hearing his sweetheart’s tender voice on the other end, Qin Yize wished he could fly over and hold her in his arms. It had been almost a month since he’d seen his beloved wife, and he missed her terribly.

"Ah Ze, I have so good news to tell you, so don’t be too shocked when you hear it..." Gu Qiaoqiao didn’t think too much, her voice slightly mischievous.

"What good news?" Qin Yize suppressed his longing, asking with a smile.

"I cured Great Aunt’s leg. Not only can she stand, but she can also walk, run, and dance. She’s back to normal and doesn’t need a wheelchair anymore."

Gu Qiaoqiao’s voice carried a hint of excitent, seeking praise.

On the other end, Qin Yize was indeed montarily stunned. He hadn’t thought she’d stand so soon, but then he responded, praising aloud, "My Qiaoqiao is the best!"

"Of course, I’m the best. I also uncovered Zhou Xia’s boyfriend, ah no, forr boyfriend, who was from the Black Angels. He approached Zhou Xia with ulterior motives, but fortunately, Xiao Shushu and I resolved it all..."

Gu Qiaoqiao spoke briskly and proudly.
