Then, several male classmates cast their curious gaze at Wen Zhendong.

They certainly knew Wen Zhendong liked Gu Qianqian, but Gu Qianqian had already rejected him. Yet he persisted annoyingly around her, unable to control his mouth. Evidently, he must have said sothing earlier, which angered others and resulted in him getting beaten.

But what should they do?

A classmate was beaten, regardless of the reason; he’s undoubtedly the most unfortunate. Is it okay to just stand by and watch?

Could they still be classmates in the future?

As the saying goes, "Classmates for one generation, relatives for three generations," the camaraderie among them should be greatly cherished.

However, here’s the problem: they could intervene, but how should they go about it? There needs to be a justification.

One of the male classmates, nad Tian Hai, spoke up. After all, the Wen and Tian families were long-ti acquaintances, which made him even more familiar with Wen Zhendong than any classmates, so he naturally had to step up.

"Gu Qianqian, what’s going on? Why did it escalate to a fight?" He first asked Gu Qianqian.

Gu Qianqian glanced at Luo Fan. How could she explain it? Should she reiterate everything?

Luo Fan pulled Qianqian over and gently said, "Go and tidy up your books."

Gu Qianqian obediently went to pick up the books she had just thrown on the ground.

Finally catching his breath, Wen Zhendong rubbed his abdon. The pain forced a hiss from him. He focused his gaze on the handso young man before him, who looked at him with contempt, shook off his classmates’ support, and stared at him fiercely, "Who are you? Why did you hit ? This isn’t over; just wait and see. I’ll have soone arrest you..."

Luo Fan couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh, thinking this guy was sowhat foolish, "You know why you got hit. Besides, arrest ? Who do you think you are?"

Just when Wen Zhendong thought he could breathe easier, he hadn’t received such humiliation since he was young. But before he could reply, Gu Qianqian, who had been silent, suddenly smiled, "Wen Zhendong, he is my boyfriend. Saying those shaless things in front of my boyfriend, isn’t getting hit self-inflicted?"

Boyfriend?

Wen Zhendong’s eyes widened suddenly, seemingly incredulous, blurting out, "You’re lying, that’s just an excuse."

Luo Fan hadn’t expected today’s surprise. Until now, he hadn’t dared to reveal his feelings mainly because of Qianqian.

Upon hearing Qianqian’s words, even if only to deal with this fool nad Wen Zhendong, his heart felt sweeter than honey.

His sharp eyes softened instantly, and without giving another glance to the group, he lowered his gaze and said, "Are you taking these books back to the dormitory or ho?"

"I plan to take them back to the dormitory; just wait for downstairs."

"Okay."

Luo Fan responded softly, ready to follow Qianqian back to the dormitory with the books.

Wen Zhendong felt ignored. He shouted loudly, "Don’t go, stand there! Can you just walk away after hitting like this?" Tian Hai frowned. He had a good impression of Gu Qianqian since she was the top scorer in this year’s college entrance exam, nearly a perfect score. Such achievents were dazzling wherever she went.

Moreover, she was not only pretty but also had a good temperant. Although she seldom interacted with them, she always maintained basic politeness.

Tian Hai knew Wen Zhendong liked her and knew that Gu Qianqian had resolutely rejected him.

In his view, it wasn’t a big deal; there were many pretty girls in this large campus. Being rejected wasn’t disgraceful; it was just that Gu Qianqian didn’t recognize his value. Based on Wen Zhendong’s looks and family background, it would be easy to find soone equally as matched or similar to Gu Qianqian in the Imperial Capital University.

But who knew his friend and classmate could be so stubborn, or perhaps provoked by Gu Qianqian’s rejection? According to Tian Hai, it was indeed the first ti Wen Zhendong had been rejected by a girl. Therefore, after being rejected by Gu Qianqian, instead of giving up, he lingered around her whenever he had the chance.

However, Gu Qianqian’s family was local, so the chances of eting were indeed few, but Tian Hai knew Wen Zhendong had a sowhat presumptuous mouth, sotis feeling good about himself. Regardless of whether the girl liked it or not, he would speak without thinking. Normally, it wasn’t a big deal. Who would have thought today that Gu Qianqian’s boyfriend heard it? This was bad.

He couldn’t help but look at the young man in front of him, reluctantly admitting internally that Gu Qianqian’s boyfriend was indeed more outstanding than Wen Zhendong, (that’s) no wonder she didn’t want him.

He pulled on Wen Zhendong’s arm and frowned, asking, "What did you say? If you said sothing excessive, getting beaten is nothing."

Luo Fan raised an eyebrow slightly, unexpectedly finding one savvy among the classmates.

He looked coldly at Wen Zhendong, still seeking an explanation, and said sternly, "Just now, I was teaching you how to behave. As university students of a new era, we must develop comprehensively in morality, intelligence, and physique. With deficient morality, how can we build our nation? How can we beco useful mbers of society? Moreover, you’re letting down the school’s cultivation of you..."

After the fight, Luo Fan started lecturing. In terms of lecturing, a hundred Wen Zhendongs couldn’t rival Luo Fan.

"You’re not my teacher, don’t lecture . I’ll go to the hospital for an injury check, I’ll report to the police. You think you can just hit , not that easy?" Wen Zhendong started arguing unreasonably; anyhow, he didn’t want this person to leave.

Luo Fan laughed, politely saying, "Go ahead, no one’s stopping you."

Then he walked towards the dormitory with Gu Qianqian.

Wen Zhendong actually encountered this situation for the first ti, not knowing how to handle it. But he couldn’t suppress his anger; usually he said many things, never getting beaten for them.

This was just plainly unreasonable, akin to bandits.

Moreover, these bandits were also righteous in teaching him, though he got beaten, he ended up seeming to be the one at fault; how would he hold his head high in front of classmates in the future?

Seeing the two about to leave, gritting his teeth and stomping his foot, he dashed forward. Tian Hai couldn’t pull him back, watching him stagger and fumble as he grabbed onto Gu Qianqian’s boyfriend, only to be flung aside.

Tian Hai covered his eyes, unable to bear the sight.

How disgraceful, like a shrew!

Even if wanting to report to the police or go for an injury check, just hurry and go. Why rush forward?

Didn’t you know you couldn’t beat them?

He motioned to the other two male classmates beside him, compelled to go forward and pull Wen Zhendong away after he was thrown aside.
