Gu Qiaoqiao was taken aback; she truly didn’t know about this. "Really? How co I didn’t know?"
"You silly girl, you’ve never rembered this date. It’s fine, as long as I rember it," Qin Yize affectionately patted Gu Qiaoqiao’s head, then gently urged her, "Qiaoqiao, go and try. From my observation, our baby is healthy. And if we can understand more deeply, wouldn’t that be even better?"
Gu Qiaoqiao thought it over and felt that her man’s words made a lot of sense. So she was intrigued. She adjusted her posture on the bed, glanced at Qin Yize who was staring eagerly at her from across, moved her fingers, and slowly extended her hand, placing her right hand on her belly.
At the mont Gu Qiaoqiao put her hand on her belly, both she and Qin Yize almost held their breath. Gu Qiaoqiao even felt her fingernails trembling. But now, Gu Qiaoqiao was not the sa as before. It only took a second for her to regain her composure.
The hand was hers, the spiritual energy in her fingers was hers, and the baby in her belly was also hers. These were all things connected by breath and blood, so naturally, Gu Qiaoqiao knew how to control herself.

Gu Qiaoqiao’s expression was initially calm, but with a hint of excitent in her eyes. However, as her hand gently brushed across her slightly raised belly, she suddenly looked up at Qin Yize across from her.
Her eyes were wide open, and her petal-like red lips were slightly parted.
In her eyes were both shock and disbelief.
Qin Yize’s heart imdiately tightened; he was startled by this version of Qiaoqiao. His face turned pale. What happened? Did Qiaoqiao sense sothing? Why did she have such an expression?
A multitude of doubts made Qin Yize feel as though his heart had stopped at that mont.
But he didn’t dare move; he still sat cross-legged across from Gu Qiaoqiao, only his hand clutching the bedsheet trembled slightly. They stared at each other for a mont, and Qin Yize took a deep breath, softened his voice, and asked, "Qiaoqiao, can you feel it?"
Then he chuckled apologetically at himself, realizing he was being a bit impatient, but he truly couldn’t scare Qiaoqiao.
After saying this, Qin Yize wanted to lean forward, but Gu Qiaoqiao stretched out another hand to stop him, "Don’t disturb just yet."
The room suddenly went silent. Qin Yize even felt as though he couldn’t hear his own breathing. He fixed his gaze on Gu Qiaoqiao, wishing his eyes could act as X-rays to see everything inside her belly.
At this mont, Gu Qiaoqiao once again extended her hand, gently running it over her belly once more. And then, the baby inside began to interact with her, causing little bulges to appear on her belly.
Qin Yize’s expression remained extrely tense. He felt as though going to battle wouldn’t be this intense; his back was even sweating. But he didn’t dare wipe it away, just nervously stared at his wife, not daring to touch the little bulges forming.
Although it seed like a long ti had passed, only one or two minutes went by. It just felt long to Qin Yize. Finally, Gu Qiaoqiao stopped her movents, slowly exhaled, and the shock on her face began to dissipate, replaced by a gentle smile, "Ah Ze, I sensed it."
At that mont, Qin Yize felt as though his heart had finally descended from the clouds. However, his voice still hoarse with caution, he asked, "How is it? Our baby must be very healthy!"
His last sentence was stated with conviction.
Gu Qiaoqiao nodded happily, "Yes, very healthy, developing normally."
Qin Yize finally let out a long breath, his heart no longer racing so madly. He returned to his usual self, no longer tense.
He turned around and lay beside Gu Qiaoqiao, placing his hands behind his head, stretching out his legs, and with a smile on his lips, said, "That’s great, now I’m relieved."
At six months pregnant, everything was normal. In the environnt they and Gu Qiaoqiao lived, there were basically no problems.
Seeing that Qin Yize didn’t continue asking, Gu Qiaoqiao felt a bit disappointed. She tilted her head, with a mysterious smile in her eyes, and straightforwardly said, "Ah Ze, I have two babies in my belly, one boy and one girl."
Qin Yize responded leisurely, "Oh, two babies, one boy, and one girl, huh..."
Gu Qiaoqiao stared at him intently.
Suddenly, the room once again fell into a peculiar silence.
Qin Yize finally reacted, jumping up, half-kneeling on the bed, looking at Gu Qiaoqiao incredulously, "Two?"
Gu Qiaoqiao nodded, smiling smugly. She knew she would definitely startle Qin Yize.
Because they had always considered it as just one baby.
"Yes, you heard right, two."
Qin Yize never anticipated this string of surprises. Even though the policy now advocated having only one child, he always hoped for a few more kids around him and Qiaoqiao.
But then, thinking about Qiaoqiao having to go through pregnancy and childbirth again, his heart ached for her, so he gave up on the thought.
Yet unexpectedly, Qin Yize’s seed was indeed incredible, as if it already knew his thoughts and responded in kind.
Then he rembered Gu Qiaoqiao’s twin younger siblings, realizing it was family genetics, quite usual really.
The only thing was, they had never thought in that direction before, especially since from the back, Qiaoqiao still looked like a young girl, not like soone pregnant.
Thinking this made him worry again. He placed a hand gently on Gu Qiaoqiao’s belly and asked cautiously, "Qiaoqiao, how are you feeling physically? Do you feel uncomfortable? Are you tired?"
He asked a series of questions, and Gu Qiaoqiao lightly patted his hand, "I’ve already said everything is normal, nothing’s wrong at all."
