Life-and-death friendships don’t require much verbal expression.

Gu Qiaoqiao was naturally familiar to Su Changan, but he didn’t know Gu Junbai and Ling Nan, so after a brief introduction, Su Changan drove them toward the courtyard house he helped Qin Yize purchase.

This type of plum is small, resembling cherries, and tastes exceptionally good after being chilled for a few days.
Gu Qiaoqiao calculated the ti and shook her head regretfully.
She and Qin Yize wouldn’t be there when the cherry plums ripen.

At this point, Su Changan had already opened the courtyard enclosed by white walls and black tiles.
He then handed the key to Qin Yize, smiling, "Ah Ze, bought per your request. Go in and see if it ets your approval."
Qin Yize nodded subtly; he hadn’t seen inside yet, but was satisfied with the outside environnt.
He patted Su Changan’s shoulder, "Brother, thank you."

Su Changan and Qin Yize stood on either side of the door, like two door guardians.
