Chapter 363: Chapter 363: Gu Garden Under the Moonlight (1) Chapter 363: Chapter 363: Gu Garden Under the Moonlight (1) Originally, it was thought that Gu Yajing’s loose lips would utter so inappropriate remarks at the wrong ti, and the Old Patriarch had also contemplated how to take this opportunity to deal with them.

Unexpectedly, it had been handled by Gu Qiaoqiao ahead of ti.

In the kitchen, everyone received a red envelope, and the Old Patriarch made sure to take care of so other wait staff and related personnel as well.

With this, everyone was happy.

Gu Tianfeng and the Old Patriarch’s group were the first to leave.

Gu Qiaoqiao took the chance to praise An Xiaotong at the reception desk.

After all, An Xiaotong was in charge of today’s banquet.

She, who was as good as family, was becoming more and more like the young mistress of the An Family.

After the two of them talked for a bit, Qin Yize and Du Tian arrived, followed by a group led by Chu Chengfeng.

Feeling tired today, Gu Qiaoqiao did not join them for fun.

If Gu Qiaoqiao wasn’t going, then naturally Qin Yize wouldn’t either, as he still needed to take her back.

Thus, the afternoon gathering didn’t happen.

But everyone dispersed cheerfully nonetheless.

After all, now that Qin Yize had been reassigned back, there would be plenty of opportunities for get-togethers in the future.

Qin Yize escorted Gu Qiaoqiao back to Gu Garden.

However, he did not leave.

Instead, he got out of the car and walked into Gu Garden with Gu Qiaoqiao.

Once inside Gu Garden, Gu Qiaoqiao instinctively glanced towards the Great Pagoda Tree, while Qin Yize subtly raised his eyebrows.

After a long while, Gu Qiaoqiao finally spoke up, “Aren’t you going ho?”

“What, driving away?”

“Not at all,” Hastily denied Gu Qiaoqiao. “It’s just that you’ve finally co back after so long; grandma and the others must really miss you.”

“Then will you go back to the Qin Family Courtyard?” asked Qin Yize.

“I…” Gu Qiaoqiao was at a loss for words.

Qin Yize looked at Gu Qiaoqiao seriously and said earnestly, “Qiaoqiao, you don’t intend to live here all the ti, do you?”

“What, is that not allowed?”

“Of course, it’s allowed. This place is so large, and Gu Garden is second only to the Imperial Family’s courtyard in the Imperial Capital. I might as well take the opportunity to appreciate it,” said Qin Yize nonchalantly.

“You want to stay here?” Gu Qiaoqiao asked, frowning.

“Is that not allowed, or is there no room?”

Gu Qiaoqiao stared blankly at Qin Yize, feeling that things were unfolding far beyond her expectations.

How could Qin Yize be so thick-skinned?

And at this mont, Lian Yuhong stood at the main house’s doorway, looking at Gu Qiaoqiao and rebuked her, “Qiaoqiao, Ah Ze has been here for quite a while now, why are you still standing in the yard? Hurry up and follow Ah Ze inside.”

Qin Yize smiled faintly.

He managed to dine at Gu Garden and then naturally stayed the night as if it were expected.

Although Gu Garden was very large, Lian Yuhong thoughtfully arranged for Qin Yize to stay in Gu Qiaoqiao’s guest house.

The moonlight was beautiful tonight.

A breeze gently stirred the corner of the yard where the roses were.

And so, a light floral scent began to drift through the air.

Gu Qiaoqiao was preoccupied, constantly thinking about the item under the tree.

But she still couldn’t be sure if there really was sothing there.

If there wasn’t, wouldn’t she have given everyone a false alarm?

Gu Qiaoqiao tossed and turned in bed for a while but still felt restless.

She decided she had to go check under the Great Pagoda Tree.

Gu Qiaoqiao changed out of her pajamas, put on a shirt and trousers, and then, wearing cloth shoes, she pushed open the door of her room.

She then saw the man enveloped in the moonlight.

Sitting on a wooden chair in the yard, he seed to be pondering sothing.

Even though they were in the sa courtyard, Gu Qiaoqiao had still placed Qin Yize in another bedroom.

And naturally, Qin Yize had no objections.

But to her surprise, he was still awake.
