Qin Yize chuckled and tentatively asked, “Should I go get you a spade or perhaps a hoe?”
“Do you know where they are?”
Qin Yize shook his head, “I don’t.”
“Then why are you talking nonsense,” Gu Qiaoqiao glared at him secretly.
It was all his fault.
If she had co by herself, how could she possibly forget to bring tools?
“I’ll go look for them,” Qin Yize decided he didn’t want to see Gu Qiaoqiao disappointed, so he turned around to leave.
However, after a few steps, the smile on Qin Yize’s face faded bit by bit.

Qin Yize simply knelt down, looked through the fence into Gu Qiaoqiao’s eyes, his gaze swirling with thoughts unknowable to anyone.
