But that felt satisfying to say, Tian Sha added, "Also, about the noise this morning, keep it down, will you? We’re right across from your dorm, and we could hear all your banging and knocking. I can only imagine how it was for the dorms next to you. The dorm is for everyone, not just for you. Please consider others before you do something, show a little less nonchalance, and don’t act as if it’s your own house."
This is a school dormitory, not your own home. And even if it were, making noise early in the morning and waking the neighbours... wouldn’t the neighbours e looking for you?
Anyway, if something needs to be said, then it should be said. Who’s indulging her?
Seeing she was being targeted by these people again, Luo Yingying angrily retorted, "You all just love to gang up on me because I’m outnumbered. I can’t win against you."
"Then shut up and stop talking."
After saying that, Tian Sha turned around to open her own dorm’s door. But when she pushed it open, ’bang’, it hit the faces of two roommates who were eavesdropping at the door.

The two who got caught eavesdropping didn’t try to argue; they just gave a sheepish grin, then quickly dragged Tian Sha and Lai Xixi into their dorm and shut the door forcefully, marking their territory. They wanted to prevent Luo Yingying from not only arguing with her own dorm but also starting a fight with theirs.
Watching the eavesdroppers in the dorm next door, He Yiran didn’t care. She took out her keys and opened the door. Just as she was about to enter, Luo Yingying pushed through quickly, stepping on He Yiran’s foot before charging into the dorm.
At the doorway, He Yiran was speechless. She had never seen this kind of behaviour before. She turned on the light and looked in Luo Yingying’s direction, saying, "rade Luo Yingying, you just stepped on my foot. Did you not notice?"
"Oh, sorry about that."
Luo Yingying said nonchalantly, then turned around with her clothes and went to get ready for bed, pletely ignoring everyone else at the door.
He Yiran was at a loss for words, gesturing towards the direction where Luo Yingying had gone to get ready and after a long pause, finally said bitterly, "She really thinks I wouldn’t lay a hand on her."
He Yiran indeed looked like she could throw a punch, but she didn’t seem like someone who would resort to violence on a whim.
Mei Mengzhen and Yan Keke didn’t respond to He Yiran’s ment, but notably, Luo Yingying was much quieter while getting ready after that.
Mengzhen and Keke exchanged knowing glances, whether Luo Yingying got the message to be quieter or was intimidated by Yiran, either way, the quieter it got, the better.
But He Yiran was still not over the recent incident, she said, "She’s just looking for someone to take her frustrations out on. What did I even do to her?"
"You didn’t provoke her, but that doesn’t mean she can’t instigate trouble with you. It’s obvious she did it on purpose. Why even ask? You’re not actually going to hit her anyway."
Yan Keke was quite calm about the whole thing. She could see that Luo Yingying had no intention of coexisting peacefully and without disturbances; Keke glanced towards where Yingying was getting ready and deliberately walked over, speaking loudly, "Hey Yiran, we’ve only got a month until exams, and I haven’t really been studying this term. Could I take a look at your notes? With so little time left, I don’t know if I can catch up with everything I’ve missed."
"Sure, go ahead and make a copy for yourself, and make one for Peipei while you’re at it; she probably hasn’t studied much either." As she said this, He Yiran knew exactly what Keke was implying, and added supportively, "This year’s courses are much harder than last year’s. You have a month to study, so passing shouldn’t be a problem, but aiming for high marks might be tough."
"I don’t need high marks; passing is plenty. My pany’s already up and running—what do I need great grades for? I just need to graduate smoothly." Keke didn’t care much about her grades.
Yet their conversation was undoubtedly meant for Luo Yingying to overhear, and indeed, she took it to heart. In the past, she could have easily asked to make a copy of He Yiran’s notes, but now...
Right now, Luo Yingying’s pride wouldn’t allow her to concede defeat. She got into the school on a remendation after all; even without He Yiran’s notes, she could still pass on her own. There was really nothing to worry about.
After getting ready for bed without speaking to anyone, she lay down to rest, and then it was time for the other three to get ready.
The three of them were always considerate, and they kept their noise down while getting ready at this time, but being quieter didn’t mean plete silence. The noise was still there, and every time they turned on the water, Luo Yingying on the bed would start looking for an excuse to get angry.

Whenever Mengzhen spoke up, Yingying felt weak. She feared Mengzhen would make some crude remarks that she couldn’t counter. In the end, Yingying could only glare hatefully at the three of them, then pulled the curtain and went back to bed.
So it seemed, when it came to putting someone in their place, it had to be Mei Mengzhen.
Mengzhen sighed inwardly. She hoped she wouldn’t turn into a shrew with time. No, to bee a proper lady, she definitely needed to move out. She resolved not to stay in the dorm next year.
It just so happened that Yan Keke was considering the same thing. Her off-campus house wasn’t ready yet. Without concern for time, she immediately called her dad, whining and insisting on buying a house in the same munity.
Her father, who adored her daughter, was even more impressed now that she was able to start a business while still in school, regardless of how well it was going. Now that she only asked for a house, why couldn’t he grant it? He was worried about her being inconvenienced and quickly suggested, "How about I buy you a bigger house nearby? Isn’t this one too small?"
