Now reading: Chapter 68: Be Well-Loved from Rebirth: I have Monopoly System, a Drama novel by Qi Dudu.

Be loved well, and flowers will bloom in your dreams.

This was certainly true for Wen ng. She felt she had finally found the man she’d been waiting for. Not only did his looks et her standards, but his financial status and personal abilities far surpassed any criteria she had ever set for a boyfriend.

Although her relationship with Wu Yun had no deep foundation—they barely even knew each other—as long as she liked him, she was willing to fight for even the slimst of possibilities, even if she couldn’t see a future together.

The morning sun illuminated the curtains. A few playful rays of light slipped through the gaps, falling upon a pair of long and toned legs on the bed.

Wen ng was still asleep, but the smile gracing her lips suggested she was having a happy dream.

Wu Yun was already up. He looked at the faint, scattered bloodstains on the light gray sheets and smiled. Even though he had already known the system’s rating, the mont of intimacy had still brought him imnse pleasure.

Counting his past life, this was his first ’first blood’.

That’s right. In his past life, right after starting college, his mind had been consud by gyms and Martial Arts Halls, obsessed with muscle and strength. Later, he went to the Capital City to find Bai Yue, only to see her being intimate with another man.

By the ti he recovered and wanted to date, all the won he t claid to have had only one or two boyfriends.

Wu Yun wouldn’t be stingy with the girl who gave him her ’first blood.’ He decided he would spend the entire day with Wen ng after she woke up, taking her wherever she wanted to go and buying her whatever she wanted.

Tomorrow, the 21st, was the launch day for Little Red Car, so Wu Yun figured he wouldn’t have much free ti over the next few days.

Besides, Bai Yue would be coming to Jingyang, and Qi Fei hadn’t returned to school yet.

’It feels like this whole thing could blow up so easily!’

Getting up quietly, Wu Yun walked shirtless into the kitchen. Thanks to his culinary skills, he quickly whipped up a light breakfast.

He returned to the bedroom to find Wen ng still sound asleep. Wu Yun lay down beside her, simply gazing at her alluring features, his mind wandering.

Sotis, a person’s sixth sense is incredibly accurate, allowing them to clearly feel the gaze of another.

Wen ng soon woke up. Seeing Wu Yun staring intently at her, she blushed slightly and said, "Junior, what are you looking at?!"

"I’m looking at a beauty. It was too dark to get a good look last night," Wu Yun said with a laugh.

Feeling his gaze travel down her body, Wen ng pulled the sumr blanket over herself. "Turn around! I need to get dressed."

Wu Yun didn’t move. "What’s there to be shy about? You’re my woman now, so what does it matter if I look? Alright, I’m just kidding. Get up and eat; I’ve already made breakfast."

"Ah! You can cook?" Wen ng asked, a look of surprise on her face.

"Is it that strange that I can cook?"

No longer feeling shy, Wen ng threw off the sumr blanket right in front of Wu Yun and walked naked into the bathroom.

"Junior, bring my toothbrush and towel!" The sound of splashing water accompanied Wen ng’s voice from the bathroom.

.....

After a flirtatious breakfast, Wen ng offered to clean up, but Wu Yun stopped her, telling her to get so rest.

When Wu Yun finished cleaning up, he saw that Wen ng had folded the bedsheet from last night, brought it out, and was putting it into a bag.

"What, keeping it as a nto?" Wu Yun asked, placing his hands on Wen ng’s slender, firm waist.

"Mmm," Wen ng humd in response, her hand gently stroking the sheet.

Wu Yun helped her pack the sheet away and said, "Co on, I’ll take you shopping today! Let’s get you a new bag. Look, I wrecked yours." He pointed to a deep gash on her handbag.

In truth, Wen ng was reluctant to part with the affordable-luxury handbag. She had bought it with the money she’d worked hard to earn as a part-ti dance instructor, without a single cent from her parents, so it held great sentintal value.

Sensing her reluctance, Wu Yun said, "Don’t worry. Out with the old, in with the new!"

With that, he pulled Wen ng out the door.

In the car, Wu Yun suddenly asked, "Senior, if I hadn’t stepped up for you last night—even if all they did was ask for your WeChat—would you still have chosen as your boyfriend?"

Wen ng fell silent for a mont before replying, "I probably would have been disappointed. We might have just remained ordinary friends."

After a pause, she continued, "Junior, when you pulled behind you last night, my heart genuinely fluttered, even though we were just pretending to be a couple at the ti."

"Haha, I guess being able to fight has its perks!" The car filled with their cheerful laughter. They soon reached the city center and pulled directly into the IFS parking garage.

Rongcheng had many shopping centers, but Wu Yun preferred IFS and Taikoo Li. If it hadn’t been so hot, he would have taken Wen ng for a stroll through Taikoo Li.

Perhaps because she hadn’t experienced this kind of lifestyle much, Wen ng felt a little nervous as she followed Wu Yun into the Louis Vuitton boutique.

Wu Yun wrapped his arm around Wen ng’s waist and whispered in her ear, "Don’t worry, buy whatever you want. I’ve got it covered."

"Mr. Wu, welco!" One of the sales associates ca over to greet them. Seeing Wu Yun with an unfamiliar woman, she figured the rich kid had switched girlfriends again.

Wen ng gave Wu Yun a surprised look. He just laughed. "I’ve bought so bags and clothes and stuff from her before, that’s why she recognizes ."

Then he joked, "Senior, buy whatever you like. You can just pay with my face!"

He then said to the sales associate, "Miss, please help my girlfriend pick out three bags: a backpack, a handbag, and a crossbody bag."

Wen ng tried to protest that it was too much, but Wu Yun stopped her. In less than twenty minutes from the mont they walked in, they had purchased three bags for 65,000 yuan.

As they walked out of the store, Wen ng linked her arm through Wu Yun’s and said, "Junior, I thought you were going to go shopping with . This takes all the fun out of it."

Wu Yun had no choice but to agree to her request, little knowing that it was the beginning of a nightmare. Wen ng was nothing like a woman who had just given away her ’first blood.’ The mont she started shopping, it was as if she had chugged a stamina potion.

They shopped all the way until lunchti. The number of gift bags in Wu Yun’s hands hadn’t increased much, but his calves felt as heavy as lead. He had promised to accompany her, so all he could do was swallow his complaints and endure.

"Senior! Can we please get so lunch? It’s already twelve!" Wu Yun said, stopping in his tracks to block the enthusiastic Wen ng.

During their break, Wu Yun received a call from his lawyer, Zhang Guowei. The matter from the previous night was concluded. Wu Yun’s actions had been ruled as legitimate self-defense, clearing him of any responsibility. The thugs, on the other hand, had to cover their own dical expenses and would be detained for 15 days for disorderly conduct and harassing a woman.

Wu Yun told Wen ng the news, who exclaid that those thugs got exactly what they deserved.

After lunch, the two found a coffee shop and rested for a couple of hours, getting to know each other better.

Seeing that Wen ng’s Affinity score for him was a high 95, Wu Yun decided to tell her everything he could—everything except for the fact that he was reborn and had a system. He told her he was an orphan, about his other two girlfriends, and even that he had started several companies.

This made Wen ng feel both pity for Wu Yun’s past and admiration for his abilities. Her Affinity score for him rose another two points, reaching 97.

Wu Yun also learned about Wen ng’s family situation. He discovered that her frequent part-ti jobs were not because Wen ng’s Family was struggling financially; on the contrary, they were comfortably well-off.

According to Wen ng, she worked part-ti for two reasons: to gain more real-world experience and to be self-reliant.

This also increased Wu Yun’s affection for Wen ng. To remain true to oneself while being pursued by nurous rich kids and wealthy n was, in itself, a rare and comndable quality.
