Doctor Wang bowed his head even lower: "I am but a servant, Auntie Tang can give orders as she pleases."

Auntie Tang let out a deep sigh. Doctor Wang had been conducting a secret affair with her for over a decade, but ever since Situ Yongjie returned to the General’s Mansion, Doctor Wang had deliberately kept his distance from her, claiming he feared that Situ Yongjie might discover their secret affair and he would lose his life as a consequence. "I’m not sick, I won’t drink."
"You dare to disobey Auntie Tang’s orders?"
The maid’s expression turned serious, and Mo Xiuzhi sensed sothing was amiss: "What... what is this dicine exactly?"
"I’m just a maid; I only carry out the tasks given to by my master." The maid did not reveal anything and pushed the bowl of dicinal soup towards Mo Xiuzhi, attempting to force her to drink it.
Cornered by the maid, Mo Xiuzhi, as if understanding sothing, turned her head away, avoiding the dicinal soup: "I see, Auntie Tang wants to harm the child in my womb, so this bowl of soup is..."
