The two of them excitedly walked inside to take a look. Inside was a dark and gloomy passage, stretching into an unknown direction.
But, no matter what, it was certainly better than waiting to die in the dungeon.
The two exchanged a glance. To prevent the Pri Minister from sending people after them, they closed the wall again. Even if the Pri Minister discovered the passage, it would buy them so ti to escape.

In the dark passage, Zhang San’s voice couldn’t hide his excitent. After being locked up for over ten years, finally seeing the light of day again—this feeling of joy was sothing only he could understand. It was overwhelming.

For him, this enmity with the Pri Minister would end only in death.
The dwarf empathized and nodded. "Sa here. That damn Fourth Prince actually drugged ! When I get out, I’ll strip him down!"
Originally, he had hoped to rise to greater heights by relying on the Fourth Prince. But that dream was now shattered. Their relationship had completely fallen apart. Since the prince had shown no loyalty, he couldn’t expect any in return.
"Those aristocrats always have so sneaky tricks up their sleeves. They’re all so treacherous."
In the darkness, the two of them carefully felt their way forward as they walked.
Suddenly, they noticed what seed to be a faint light ahead.
Could it be the exit?
The two were overjoyed and quickened their pace to rush forward.
As they got closer, they realized it was a small room, about five or six square ters in size. The room was filled with nurous boxes of various sizes. On the beam above, there was a Luminous Pearl, roughly the size of a goose egg, illuminating the entire room.
"Oh my gosh, what is all this?" Zhang San approached and touched the boxes here and there. Then he lifted his head and suddenly spotted the goose-egg-sized Luminous Pearl. His eyes lit up as he muttered to himself, "We’re rich this ti."
The dwarf wanted to open the boxes to see what was inside, but the lids were nailed shut too tightly and wouldn’t budge. After trying a few tis and failing, his temper flared, and he kicked one of the boxes hard...
With a loud crash, the contents of the box spilled out completely...
A dazzling pile of gold scattered across the ground, almost blinding them.
"Oh my gosh, are these gold bars?" Zhang San picked one up and bit into it hard. Several tooth marks appeared instantly on the gold bar. "Wow! It really is gold!"
The dwarf opened all the boxes in the room. Without exception, every single box was filled with gold bars.
"This ti we’re rich!" The dwarf jumped up in excitent.
