Situ Zhi, seated nearby, stared plaintively at the spread of breakfast on the table and said pitifully to Old Madam, "Grandmother, I’m hungry."
Old Madam raised her eyes toward the door, and with Situ Yongjie still absent, she finally said, "No need to wait anymore. If you’re hungry, go ahead and eat."

"A whole family delivering gifts shows sincerity."
Qinger, upon hearing this, looked displeased, pouting and speaking discontentedly, "If you want to go, go yourself. I’m not setting foot in that broken Prince’s Mansion to see that Ghost King. To put it bluntly, he’s just an ugly wretch, flaunting his martial arts skills to throw his weight around in court. I hope he dies from his illness, so he can stop being a nace to others."
Situ Yongjie imdiately flared up upon hearing this: "Watch your mouth! The War Prince isn’t soone you can criticize. Don’t end up dragging down the General’s Mansion."
Qinger’s reckless words startled Auntie Tang as well. "Qinger, stop spouting nonsense!"
