Old Lady Zhang doubted her own ears. That thick book on the table had to be copied 50 tis. It was obvious the Old Madam was punishing the young miss and not letting her eat. Yet, the young miss said it would be easy to handle.

"You’ll be done copying soon?" Old Lady Zhang looked again at the thick book on the table, thinking the young miss was dizzy with anger from the Old Madam, babbling nonsense.

Xuexue waved her hand impatiently. Old Nanny Zhang was watching her all the ti, making it inconvenient for Xiao Taohong to co out and help. She’d really cry then.

The young miss was so determined, Old Lady Zhang had no choice but to leave. Besides, the Old Madam also needed her back to serve, so she nodded and placed the rice paper Xuexue needed to copy next to the table.

Xiao Taohong couldn’t resist reminding her, "The old hag isn’t benevolent either, master should be careful."
"Alright, alright, just keep on writing. If the copying’s slow, I’ll end up with an empty stomach tonight."
"Okay!"
Xiao Taohong agreed and quickly started copying at a breakneck speed, dazzling Xuexue with her efficiency, who was secretly pleased. This little ghost was indeed a wise choice.
