Situtu Qinger sat in front of the dressing table, wearing a bright red wedding gown, reaching out to stroke her cheek. In the bronze mirror, a beautifully featured woman with a painted look had her hair styled up, adorned with a slanting phoenix hairpin. Her face was like a silver plate, eyes like autumn water, eyebrows resembling slender crescent moons, a full nose and red lips dotted beneath, revealing pearl-like white teeth, her smile inadvertently enchanting.

As they spoke, they didn’t notice the young maid’s peculiar expression beside them.
The maid had just intended to turn around when they heard Xuexue’s voice from the doorway.
