Mo Daoyan was stunned, filled with doubt in his heart, wondering what was going on. Could it be that the family had been burgled?

Mo Daoyan’s pupils suddenly widened in shock; as he ducked his head in panic, he felt a gust of wind pass over his head, a chill on his scalp, frightening him to collapse to the floor.
Imdiately afterward, there was a loud clanging sound, clearly the sound of the kitchen knife hitting the floor.
Involuntarily, Mo Daoyan reached up to touch his scalp, and felt a bare patch where clearly, his topknot along with so scalp had been shaved away by the knife.
