"Pfft...!"

Among the civil and military officials, soone couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

The Fourth Prince turned back, using his remaining eye to sweep fiercely across the civil and military officials, suddenly, the laughter stopped abruptly, and they all lowered their heads.

Although the Fourth Prince was crippled, the power behind him was not to be underestimated, and they did not want to offend the Fourth Prince.

The Fourth Prince was so angry that his face turned livid: "War Prince, are you cursing my grandfather?"

If the Pri Minister died, it would be very disadvantageous to his mother and him, so the Fourth Prince was naturally very wary.

Long Rui shrugged and said indifferently: "I didn’t say anything; the Fourth Prince just said it himself."

At the end, Long Rui turned to the civil and military officials and loudly asked, "Everyone, say, wasn’t the cursing of the Pri Minister said by the Fourth Prince himself?"

Among the civil and military officials, many were Long Rui’s people, so they said in unison, "Yes, we all heard it; the words cursing the Pri Minister were indeed said by the Fourth Prince."

"You... you all...!" The Fourth Prince pointed at the civil and military officials, speechless with anger, thinking about how many of them were Long Rui’s people was quite terrifying.

Long Rui ignored him and again looked at The Emperor, saying, "Your Majesty, I wish to accuse the Pri Minister of attempted murder."

"Wasn’t it already said that these n in black were not sent by the Pri Minister? Why bring it up again?" The Emperor was deeply troubled; after finally turning the page, why did the War Prince bring it back again?

Long Rui sneered coldly: "Does Your Majesty really believe that these n in black were released from the death cell by to deliberately fra the Pri Minister?"

"This... this...!"

The Emperor swallowed instantly; of course, he did not believe it. He had intentionally said that earlier to side with the Pri Minister, hoping to rescue him from Long Rui’s hands. Who knew that Long Rui totally ignored this, disregarding the bias, and directly defied and pretended compliance.

After a whole morning of commotion, Long Rui also felt tired; he directly ordered the guard beside him to escort the n in black over, take off their socks, and expose their soles.

When everyone was baffled, Long Rui stepped forward, grabbed the foot sole of one of the n in black, and showed it to The Emperor, saying, "Your Majesty, you see, I have not falsely accused the Pri Minister."

The Emperor seated far away couldn’t see clearly, so he stepped down from the Dragon Throne to look close, his face changing colors, silently cursing the Pri Minister as a fool.

It turns out these n in black had a branding from the Pri Minister’s residence on their soles, burned in with hot iron, unless scraped off along with skin and flesh, it was indelible for a lifeti; the Pri Minister cannot escape this.

The Emperor slumped back to sit on the Dragon Throne, thinking that this ti the Pri Minister was dood; with such evidence, even he as the Emperor could not save him.

Everyone stood far from the n in black, not seeing what was happening clearly.

But the Pri Minister sitting nearby changed his face; earlier when Long Rui ordered the guard to remove the shoes of those n in black, he rembered that his subordinates all had the Pri Minister’s Mansion branding on their soles, imdiately drawing a blank in his mind, thinking this ti he was in trouble.

The Emperor’s face was strange, and everyone grew even more curious about what happened.

Consequently, they widened their eyes and craned their necks to look upward.

Just at this mont, Long Rui spoke again: "Your Majesty, the Pri Minister sent assassins to the War Prince’s Mansion for murder, now the evidence is conclusive, please give an explanation."

The Pri Minister, upon hearing this, slumped onto his bench, his face turning extrely pale.
