War Prince’s Mansion, at the entrance.
The news of the War Prince falling ill at the Drunken Sky Building had long been relayed back to the War Prince’s Mansion, where Xuexue and the entire household staff awaited at the entrance.
Zi Xia, unaware of the Prince’s secret, stretched her neck out, anxiously watching the street, repeatedly murmuring, "Miss, why hasn’t the Prince returned yet?"
Although Xuexue knew that Long Rui hadn’t been affected by Gu, she was aware that the Emperor had likely planted nurous spies within the War Prince’s Mansion, so she had to maintain appearances.

"None of us are sure. The Prince was fine while eating, and just after finishing, without even putting down the bowl, he suddenly fainted."
As they spoke, they hurried towards the Rain Listening Courtyard.
Actually, the Prince had his own chamber, but during this period, he’d been living in the Rain Listening Courtyard, so Long Yi naturally took him there.

The bedroom door closed, and a few trusted aides guarded the door. Long Rui, lying on the bed, suddenly opened his eyes, took Xuexue’s hand, and smiled, saying, "My dear, I’ve startled you."
