"Awooo!"
The wolf excitedly stood up from the ground, raised its head, and jumped up with all its might, attempting to drag Celestial Master Zhang down from the tree.
Celestial Master Zhang clung tightly to the tree trunk, his lower body dangling and swaying beneath. At that mont, he felt like dying; his master was too cruel, knowing full well he didn’t understand martial arts, yet left him in such a dangerous place. If he were unlucky enough to be eaten by wolves, even as a ghost he’d confront his master to ask why he was so heartless to leave him in such peril.
"Awoo, awooo."
The wolf jumped higher and higher, suddenly biting onto Celestial Master Zhang’s boot, pulling it right off.
This terrified Celestial Master Zhang so much that his soul scattered; he didn’t know where the strength ca from, but suddenly he scampered up the tree trunk in a flash, sitting up there, panting hard: "Oh my, that scared half to death."
The wolf, seeing this, looked incredibly disappointed; this human was about to fall, how did he climb back up again! How vexing.
So, it squatted on the ground, waiting again, refusing to believe it wouldn’t get to eat this human.
Wolves naturally live in groups, but for this one human, it unusually refrained from summoning its packmates.
Because, rightfully so, the more wolves there are, the less there is to eat; if it called out, wolves would co from all directions, and a skinny old man like Celestial Master Zhang wouldn’t be enough to fill their teeth, let alone have any left over for it.

As dawn approached, the wolf finally left.
Celestial Master Zhang let out a sigh of relief; the ordeal had terrified him the entire night.
Just as he was about to climb down the tree, taking advantage of the daylight making things less dangerous, and quickly find a way out of the deep forest.
Suddenly, the bushes ahead rustled continuously as if sothing was approaching.
Celestial Master Zhang was startled, imdiately stopping his actions, and climbed back up, sitting on the tree top. Looking down, another fright overca him.
He saw a human-like figure appear below the tree.
How to describe it!
This person had no limbs, just a body and a head, but strangely enough, despite the lack of limbs, he crawled swiftly on the ground. Moreover, the wolf that had just left ca back, following beside the weirdo.
"Xiao Hei, were you naughty last night? Did you scare the guest?"
The weirdo, dirty all over, lay on the ground, turned his head, and asked the wolf.
"Awoo."
The wolf responded with a soft call.
"So mischievous!" Having said this, the weirdo looked up at Celestial Master Zhang in the tree and shouted, "Brother up there, you can co down now. With here, Xiao Hei won’t harm you, don’t worry!"
Celestial Master Zhang had lived a long life and seen all sorts of people, but he’d never encountered such a weirdo, not daring to co down easily. So he shouted down, pulling his voice, "Who...who exactly are you? Why live in the forest?"
The weirdo, with a dirty face covered with a full beard, making his features indistinguishable, loudly replied, "Brother, don’t worry! I’m a good person."
A good person? Celestial Master Zhang was skeptical; this person had no limbs and hid deep in the mountains and forests, he must have offended an enemy, had his limbs chopped off, and lived here to avoid them.
"No, I didn’t sleep a wink last night, I’ll rest a bit and co down later." Celestial Master Zhang decided that he’d only co down after this weirdo and wolf left.
"In that case, I won’t force you, brother." Finished speaking, the weirdo’s body crawled swiftly on the ground. Shortly, he erged from the bushes with a rabbit in his mouth.
Agilely turning his body around, he crawled swiftly on the ground again, quickly stopping under a tree.
