Xuexue put down her chopsticks too and replied with a smile, "No need for formalities, husband."
After breakfast, the maids took everything away.
Long Rui sat aside, his expression suddenly turning very serious.
Xuexue leaned her face close to his, reaching out to touch his mask, and asked curiously, "Husband, what’s wrong? Didn’t you eat enough earlier? Are you in a bad mood?"
Long Rui took her small hand down and held it in his big hand, saying, "My dear, don’t be playful, I have sothing serious to talk to you about."
"What is it?"
Now Xuexue was truly puzzled; she had never seen Long Rui so serious before.
