Long Yi didn’t ask why. After all, he would follow whatever the Prince commanded.

Guards and servants ran toward the noise.
“Prince, what exactly happened here? It sounded like we heard a tiger,” asked a leader of the guards, responsible for the safety of the Prince’s Mansion.
“What tiger? You heard wrong,” War Prince Long Rui lied effortlessly, his face showing his usual cold composure, “I was in high spirits tonight, when unexpectedly, a beam in the house broke. The roof collapsed, crushing so beauties. Hurry and dig them out.”

Normally, when a death occurred at the War Prince’s Mansion, the servants would sneak the bodies out the back door, then take them to Mass Grave outside the city, casually digging a hole and burying them.
“Hmm! You’re right,” Long Rui nodded his head, “Since these people were sent by The Emperor, tomorrow morning, take the bodies back to the Imperial Palace.”
Upon hearing this, the guards imdiately kneeled with a thump; “Prince, forgive us, we dare not.”
“If I tell you to send them, then send them. Just say it was by my orders,” Long Rui was quite domineering, still holding a grudge over the past episodes when the old Emperor had frequently sent assassins to kill him, causing him to lose his mory.
