Chapter 975: Chapter 975 Parents Are Hungry (Happy New Year)
“My dear, I am so hungry that I can barely walk, let alone tidy up the house. I am sorry to trouble you.” Mo Daoyan said weakly.
Old Master Mo: “Yaner, our whole family is starving. It’s not a solution to just wait here. Go outside quickly and find so food to fill our stomachs first.”

“Ask the maid outside.”

He was holding a tray covered with a white cloth which concealed its contents; his face beaming with excitent, he called out, “My dear, my dear, we finally have sothing to eat.”
“Really?”
Madam Ruan, too excited, approached him; she was nearly starving to death.
“Indeed, take a look.” saying this, Mo Daoyan reached out to lift a corner of the white cloth on the tray revealing the white buns inside.
“Ah! There are buns to eat, that’s wonderful.”
Madam Ruan couldn’t wait and was about to grab one to eat.
“Cough cough cough…!”
Suddenly, a series of fierce coughs were heard.
Madam Ruan’s reaching hand instantly dropped; she didn’t need to look back to know that the coughs were from Grandma Mo, warning her that as a daughter-in-law, she cannot eat before her in-laws.
She swallowed hard, “Husband, I’m not hungry, let the Eunuch and Mother-in-law eat first.”
“Weren’t you just constantly saying you were hungry?”
“Yes!”
“Go ahead and eat.”
Madam Ruan was truly too hungry and reached out her hand again.
“Cough cough cough…!” Another round of fierce coughing accompanied by Grandma Mo’s voice rang out: “Yaner, both Dad and Mom are hungry, co here quickly.”
