Capítulo 1555: Chapter 854: Now, I’ve Already Clashed With the Older Generation

The Class 8 group chat has temporarily ceased fire, with Jiang Ning guessing that Lu Qiqi is probably resting and recuperating, likely to launch a second battle later.

Jiang Ning put away his phone and, with nothing to do, dragged a long stool to the door, basking in the sun, munching on waterlon seeds, and casually watching Hu’s wife chasing Hao Hao with a stick.

When Hao Hao ran to his side, Jiang Ning advised, “It’s the New Year, and he’s just a kid.”

Now Jiang Ning’s parents are quite influential, giving him a touch of face too. Hu’s wife reluctantly dropped a few harsh words, allowing Hao Hao to escape unscathed.

Jiang Ning ordered, “Hao Hao, go inside and get a bowl of beef.”

Today, Uncle Jingui’s wedding banquet was contracted by Uncle Jiang Xintian, who was both the boss and the head chef.

Hao Hao had quite a bit of respect for Uncle Ning, so he promptly ran inside, returning with a bowl of sliced beef, and a small bowl of sauce prepared with herbs and sprinkled with coriander and scallion.

Jiang Ning picked up a piece of plain cut beef, dipped it in the sauce, and savored it. It had been a long ti since he enjoyed a banquet at ho. The beef was tender, flavorful, with genuine ingredients — it was truly delightful.

Hao Hao made a significant contribution, yet his small face carried a hint of lancholy.

Jiang Ning offered advice: “Where you fall, you should rise from there. Go say sothing nice to your mom.”

Hao Hao, a little puzzled yet seemingly enlightened, sprinted to Hu’s wife and shouted, “Mom, I was wrong!”

Hu’s wife was playing on her phone, she glanced up and asked, “Where were you wrong?”

Hao Hao: “Earlier, I said it was lively at Great Grandpa’s funeral, but it wasn’t just lively, I felt a bit sad too.”

Speaking of this, he sighed, surprisingly sentintal.

Hu’s wife placed her phone beside her leg and asked, “Are you still sad now?”

Hao Hao sneaked a peek at the phone and quickly withdrew his gaze. With a score of 90 in language, his foundation was solid. He jumped forward, hugged Hu’s wife, and affectionately asked, “Mom, when I grow up, you’ll be old, right?”

Ultimately, he was her son. Hu’s wife held him close, touched his head, and said, “Yes, when you grow up and get married, Mom will be old and eventually die.”

Hao Hao grew even sadder. Though Hu’s wife now weighed 170 pounds, she was once a 90-pound girl with a delicate mind. Seeing her beloved son so sad, she couldn’t help but feel emotional, wishing for a harmonious atmosphere filled with love!

Suddenly, Hao Hao popped his head out, stared intently at the phone on the bench, and abruptly asked, “Mom, after you die, will you give your phone?”

Ten seconds later, Hu’s wife was once again chasing Hao Hao.

Jiang Ning was left speechless by his filial piety.

At this mont, several people walked quickly from the east, and Jiang Ning glanced over — among them was Little Pao, the kid who broke the Ultraman toy this morning.

Next to Little Pao was a teenager with a fat and robust build — Da Pao, whose expression conveyed a bit of arrogance. Beside him was Jiang He, whom Jiang Ning had beaten up yesterday.

Currently, Jiang He’s face was full of hypocrisy: “Brother Pao, that’s Jiang Ning. Yesterday, he even said you’re nothing special!”

Jiang Pao was already furious. Yesterday, he guessed Jiang Ning would go to South Lake to visit graves, so he instructed his brother to block the road, only for the Ultraman to be rcilessly smashed.

He forcefully pressed down his temper, which was a good thing — it ant he had suffered a loss. Given Jiang Ning’s house is now prosperous, shouldn’t he demand sothing in compensation?

Jiang Pao tightened his fists and swore, “When I see him, I’ll knock him down with a single blow!”

“If you want revenge, take advantage of the chaos to stomp him!” Jiang Pao declared.

He had been working in a factory outside, got into a fight with the manager, forfeited a month and a half’s wages, and walked away, thinking he was super cool!

Jiang He cautioned, “Brother Pao, it seems Jiang Ning can fight pretty well now, be careful!”

Upon hearing this, Brother Pao sneered, “If it wasn’t for Da Heng and the others holding back before, you think I wouldn’t have beaten him?”

He angrily located the wedding venue, pinpointing Jiang Ning’s spot with Jiang He and his brother’s guidance.

He froze twice — firstly, the Jiang Ning in front of him was unfamiliar, and secondly, a middle-aged man was speaking to Jiang Ning, coincidentally, that man was his dad.

Before Jiang Pao could act out, his dad waved and shouted, “Paozi, co over!”

No matter how tough he is, Jiang Pao wouldn’t dare defy his dad, having grown up under stick discipline. Once, he stole from ho and was whipped by his father with a belt, leaving him scarred for life.

“Dad, what’s up.” Jiang Pao reined in his aggression.

Pao’s father pulled him over to Jiang Ning, instructing him to stand obediently.

Then, Pao’s father smiled broadly, “Co, greet Jiang Ning. You two used to play together as kids!”

Jiang Pao’s face soured, remaining silent.

Pao’s father grew impatient and slapped him on the head, “Quickly.”

Jiang Pao kept a stiff face, “Hey Jia Ning, just got back?”

Still seated steadily on the stool, Jiang Ning replied calmly, “Yeah, ca back to visit. Where are you working now?”

This sentence seed to touch Pao’s father’s heart, he promptly laid out his plans, saying: “Sigh, my kid’s not capable, working outside, fought with the manager, didn’t get a di of the salary, and I lost a few thousand dollars. Really hopeless!”

“I plan, after the New Year, to take him to work at the duck factory in town, closer to ho, with soone to look after him. Sadly, he’s too young, don’t know if they’ll take him…”

Speaking, Pao’s father pulled out a pack of cigarettes, surprisingly unopened soft Zhonghua, he was about to pass them around when Jiang Ning waved his hand.

Jiang Ning didn’t need to hear more to guess Pao’s father’s intentions — he must have learned Uncle Xiao Gui joined Evergreen Liquid and ca over to explore connections.

After all, with Jiang Ning’s parents not around, they could only approach Jiang Ning. If it worked out, Paozi would have no worries in the future, living the good life, buying a house, car, and marrying would be easy and effortless.
