Cui Yu, who couldn’t take his eyes off Jiang Yanan, really wanted to join but couldn’t find an excuse, plus he needed to download the torrents.
Tonight, he had agreed to watch movies at ng Gui’s house with Guo Kunnan and Hu Jun.
Hu Jun had promised to cover the cost of snacks for the evening if they could find so more mature films.

Huang Zhongfei pointed up at the tree.
Yu Wen looked up and saw lush branches and leaves with a white shuttlecock hanging among them.
This was a cypress, with a particularly robust trunk – many of them were planted around the Four Middle School campus.
“What to do now?” Yu Wen was at a loss for words, as the birdie was newly replaced and still very fresh.
Leaving it hanging in the tree made her uncomfortable, and not to ntion that Yu Wen had a bit of OCD.
Huang Zhongfei looked up and estimated the height of the shuttlecock, about three to four ters up.
He got closer, gesturing with the racket, but it was still far out of reach.
Yu Wen asked Shen Qing’e, “Do you have any ideas?”
Shen Qing’e suggested, “Try throwing a stone at it.”
Jiang Yanan proposed, “We could shake the tree and get it down that way.”
“Okay, Yanan, let’s skip your idea,” Yu Wen said, imdiately dismissing the thought as she eyed the stout trunk.
It was impossible to shake.
Yu Wen looked for stones nearby but unfortunately, it was a cented area with a grassy verge around the tree – not a stone in sight.
Thinking about this, she suddenly looked down at the badminton racket in her hand.
“Could I use the racket to knock it down?” she proposed the idea.
Shen Qing’e replied, “The badminton racket is quite large; there’s a good chance it could work.”
Hearing this, Yu Wen’s confidence grew a tad.
She told the class monitor, who was trying to think of a solution:
“Class Monitor, you just watch; I’ll take care of knocking it down.”
Yu Wen gripped the badminton racket, raised it high, and aid for the shuttlecock stuck in the branches.
To get a better swing, she even jumped, and with a “whoosh,” the racket flew up, accurately hitting the shuttlecock.
The birdie imdiately fell down.
Jiang Yanan exclaid excitedly, “Wenwen, you’re so accurate!”
Yu Wen looked triumphant, feeling her performance was perfect and that she had just redeed her image.
