Chapter 755: Chapter 455 The Beauty of the Human World_3

The archery hall had three shooting lanes: 3 ters, 5 ters, 10 ters.

Jiang Ning chose the 10-ter one.

The person responsible for fitting them with protective gear and teaching them archery skills was a tall, young woman.

As she equipped Geng Lu with protective gear, envy was evident on her face, “Are you students?”

“High school sophomore,” Geng Lu replied.

The archery instructor took a sharp breath in, “Only a sophomore.”

She resigned herself to the fact soon after, thinking that if one didn’t have such a physique by sophomore year, it was unlikely to co later.

After equipping the protective gear, the archery instructor explained the key points, “Place the arrow here until you hear a ‘click.'”

“Yes, that’s right.”

“Extend your left hand, pull the bow with your right, up to your chin. Don’t be nervous.”

“Aim using the sight, right at the target, yes, and rember, always pull arrows the sa way, and never shoot if soone is in front of you.”

Geng Lu drew the bow, but her first arrow missed the mark.

The archery instructor hurriedly encouraged her, “Don’t worry, it’s typical for beginners. Just practice more.”

On the next lane, a tall, thin man hit the target with his arrow and clenched his fist, releasing a yell of excitent.

After a few tries, Geng Lu felt tired and turned to Jiang Ning, “Your turn.”

“Sure.” Jiang Ning hadn’t practiced archery for a while.

When the archery instructor ca over to equip Jiang Ning with the protective gear, he waved her off, “I have experience.”

“Alright, shoot one arrow and let see,” she said, concerned about custor safety since it was her archery hall.

Holding the bow, Geng Lu thought Jiang Ning would take a mont to pose and feel it out, but he instantly drew the bow and the arrow flew, striking dead center of the target and the end of the arrow vibrated continuously.

The instructor nearby couldn’t help but exclaim, “Beautiful!”

Jiang Ning shot a few more arrows, each striking the center and forming a small ring.

A glimr of admiration flashed in Geng Lu’s eyes; even playing archery, he looked so handso.

After playing archery, Jiang Ning took her to the claw machines, where Geng Lu pointed and Jiang Ning grabbed.

Seven or eight plush toys were pulled out by Jiang Ning.

Geng Lu was overjoyed, hugging Jiang Ning’s arm in delight.

Claw machines were prevalent—on comrcial streets, train stations, malls, cinemas, underground walkways—making it almost inevitable to encounter a desired plush toy.

For Geng Lu, the previous experiences with claw machines were annoying; coins would go in but never grab anything, and sotis after trying over ten tis without success, it was maddening.

Now, it had turned into a toy-dispensing machine.

She bought two bags from a nearby accessory shop, filled to the brim. A little girl nearby couldn’t take her eyes off them, filled with envy, and Geng Lu generously gave her one.

Receiving praise as a “good sister and good brother.”

Another couple trying to win toys was almost driven mad with jealousy; after spending ten yuan and feeling frustrated, they bought an additional twenty yuan worth of ga coins, all for naught.

Jiang Ning and Geng Lu then went to a quaint dessert shop, ordering fruit mini cakes, waterlon hawthorn taro bean flower.

It wasn’t until nearly 4 o’clock that Geng Lu, carrying two portable bags, boarded her mother’s car.

She waved goodbye through the car window.

After Geng Lu left, Jiang Ning realized he hadn’t spent a penny the entire ti.

He glanced at his phone; Xue Yuantong hadn’t ssaged, probably still asleep.

Jiang Ning stood in front of the plaza, looking at the nearby crowd, and murmured,

“Ti to get to business.”

He pulled out a transparent talisman, a tracking talisman specifically designed to leave trails.

“Activate!” Jiang Ning commanded.

The transparent talisman rose into mid-air, pointing in a direction.

Jiang Ning walked toward a distant alley, his form slowly fading, becoming almost invisible.

The Spirit Boat floated in the air.

Jiang Ning boarded the Spirit Boat, executing a graceful tail flick, heading directly toward Taihe Road in the east.

The speed of the Spirit Boat wasn’t fast, about the sa as a train. Jiang Ning stood on the Spirit Boat, overlooking the scenery below.

Even so, it only took a minute or two to reach Taihe Road.

The area was quiet; since most buildings were marked for demolition, most residents had moved out.

These buildings had been around for forty to fifty years, with outdated designs. Jiang Ning ascended the stairs, encountering a foul sll emanating from the dilapidated stairwell.

He approached a door, hearing a string of curses coming from inside.

Jiang Ning casually twisted, and the room door silently opened, the person inside didn’t notice.

It was a young man of about 19 years old, with a thin scar on his face, sword-like eyebrows, quite handso.

He was smoking a cigarette, sitting in front of the computer playing online gas, a neurotic mixture of giggles and curses wafted in the smoke.

The room had only him, as Jiang Ning’s Divine Sense probed around, he discovered a steel slingshot on the table surrounded by steel balls, and under the table, there was a Mountain Opening Knife with an edge.

Jiang Ning snapped his fingers and the room trembled.

The gaming youth turned his head and after seeing Jiang Ning, he looked surprised and then asked,

“How did you get in?”

While speaking, he realized sothing was off and reached his hand toward the Mountain Opening Knife under the table.

Jiang Ning ignored his question and asked instead, “Did you assault a woman on an electric scooter a few days ago?”

The young man finally realized he was there for revenge, “What are you talking about? I don’t understand!”

He yanked out the Mountain Opening Knife, holding it in front of him, his eyes instantly turned fierce, “You fucking want to die, bastard? I’ll kill your whole family!”

Jiang Ning, “Did you understand what I asked you just now?”

The youth suddenly laughed, “Yes, I did it; what can you do to ?”

“Fuck, she dared to obstruct , if I weren’t in bad form that day, I’d have crippled her with one shot from the slingshot!”

Jiang Ning’s Divine Sense lingered on the steel balls for two seconds, 8mm steel balls, when fired with the slingshot at a speed of over 100 ters per second, could easily shatter a beer bottle from several tens of ters away.

Hitting a person, it might not kill with one shot, but causing injury or disability wasn’t difficult.

If Aunt Gu hadn’t worn the Jade Pendant to protect her body, being hit once would definitely make her fall off the scooter.

A single steel ball could destroy a family.

“So it was you,” Jiang Ning calmly approached the young man.

The scar on the youth’s face twisted, a streak of ferocity flashed, he pulled out the Mountain Opening Knife, his arm muscles twisted, and with a severe slice, he cut through the air.

He didn’t hold back at all, fully intending to kill.

“Clang!”

The knife struck Jiang Ning’s shoulder, making a crisp sound of tal striking tal.

Jiang Ning didn’t move an inch.

The youth was shaken to the point his hand hurt, disbelieving what he saw.

Thinking Jiang Ning wore a steel plate, he cursed,

“Fuck!”

He swung the knife, delivering another strike that made him step back.

His eyes turned red, like a mad bull, he slashed wildly more than a dozen tis.

So many strikes could chop a person into pieces, yet, Jiang Ning remained intact as before, standing in place.

Jiang Ning ate so plum candy, expressionless,

“Boring.”

With a swift move of his arm, before the youth could react, the Mountain Opening Knife was snatched away.

Jiang Ning tugged casually, accompanied by a harsh tallic tearing sound, the sharp Mountain Opening Knife was viciously torn in two.

The youth’s prior neuroticism disappeared, he was terrifyingly frightened, anxiously asking,

“Are you a human or a ghost?”

Jiang Ning curled his lips, “I am a god.”

He gripped the broken knife, and with one strike, a long slice of knife light flashed.

Red blood spurted, the youth’s left arm was split in two, not broken, but like splitting wood, from palm to shoulder, sliced into two halves, many nerves and muscles severed.

The intense pain was fully transmitted to his brain, the youth scread nearly fainting, he suddenly realized his body was frozen, unable to even blink.

All the evil he had caused in the past, at this mont, was repaid.

Jiang Ning raised the knife, taunting, “Ever heard of… an octopus?”

The youth watched helplessly as the demon before him struck another knife.

Ten minutes later.

Jiang Ning shot out a Spiritual Fire, burning away all the bloodstains on the ground.

He flicked his hand, and the window opened, the generated wind wave dispersing the odd sll in the room.

He recalled the words the youth said earlier, “Heh, interesting, the gang mbers don’t know each other’s identities?”

“Good, one by one, I’ll find them.”

Jiang Ning left the house with poise.
