The three of them exchanged greetings.
Then, a tall woman got out of the BMW’s driver’s seat. Her eyes briefly held a scrutinizing look before it vanished, and the aura around her relaxed considerably as she instructed:
"You must be Jiang Ning, thank you for looking after my Yuxia."
Jiang Ning nodded, "It’s alright, not a bother."
Doctor Feng was Bai Yuxia’s mother; she had heard many tis about Jiang Ning from her daughter and knew the boy had great qualities. Though a bit worried, she didn’t want to upset her daughter.
After a brief chat, Doctor Feng drove away.
Chen Siyu and her sister Chen Siqing bead at Jiang Ning and said in unison:

Bai Yuxia was speechless. What kind of talk was that?

This being the first ti classmates were visiting her ho, Xue Yuantong made sure to host them properly.

Chen Siqing said, "Silly, of course a boy’s room can’t be girly!"

Bai Yuxia ignored them, sothing else caught her attention. On the bookshelf were two white jade bottles; she recognized the material.
Made of Hetian jade seed material, the jade bottles had a subtle and refreshing hue, with a smooth and round surface, exhibiting a unique aesthetic.
Even just the bottles were invaluable. Bai Yuxia had a jade bracelet made from the sa seed material.

At dinner, with friends coming from afar, Xue Yuantong cooked herself.
There were five dishes in total: stir-fried chicken drumsticks with soybeans, fried tofu, green bean sprout snacks, stir-fried pork, and beef offal stewed with potatoes.
She also cooked pumpkin with rice, different from restaurant pumpkin porridge; the pumpkin she cooked was still in chunks.

"Tongtong, did you add sugar?"
