Tang Qing went to bed very late that night.

On one hand, he couldn’t fall asleep and on the other, he kept an eye on the ssages sent by his robots. After all, he felt that the robots at the command center should’ve been rebuilt if they’d only stayed foolishly at the entrance of his uncle’s hotel room for the entire night.
The robot bodyguards accomplished three tasks that night.
The first task was to find out Tang Kai’s hotel records at the front desk. Tang Qing had no idea how they did it and he didn’t want to know either. He simply had a team of experts working behind the scenes, so he really didn’t need to worry too much. The records showed that his uncle Tang Kai had checked in three days ago, at eight in the morning.
The second task was to track his Uncle’s previous whereabouts, using the identity information registered at the hotel. All such records were kept within the Public Security Departnt’s managent system. However, unlike in the future, there was no network connection for real-ti updates, hence, a lot of information was missing.
Using ’special’ ans, the robots had obtained a low-level access account, and through a computer at a local police station in Qingyan City, they managed to find so information about Tang Kai. Unfortunately, the information was sparse, including only a few records of immigration and the most recent entry was from the end of last month when he took a Southern Airlines flight from Bangkok to Capital Airport. There was no other information after that.
Well, he shouldn’t have been too hopeful about the information managent of this era.
Sotis, Tang Qing felt confused. On one hand, he hoped for total digitization of public information since it made his searches easier. On the other hand, he didn’t want to be part of this surveillance system.
He thought that the information age was really a double-edged sword. While it made life convenient, it made one’s whereabouts transparent. This was good for companies that controlled the information, but not so good for the individual’s privacy.
Just like why many developed countries didn’t develop a cashless paynt system like Alipay and WeChat. It was not because the technology was not advanced enough, but because they didn’t want their spent, everyday commutes, lunches, purchases, and even beverages to be recorded. They valued their privacy significantly, mostly in Germany where they would prefer cash transactions over credit cards and electronic paynts.
However, in their country, such information wasn’t considered important by the general public, who thought it didn’t matter. They believed their whereabouts and consur behavior were worthless. But were they really worthless? For many companies, this was a treasure trove of data.
Alright, he digressed too much and couldn’t delve into it too deeply.
The third task the robots did was to protect his Uncle. One of the robots rented a room next to his Uncle’s and started using surveillance devices similar to bugging. Tang Qing was also curiously playing with this toy before, it was really a Military-grade product, he could clearly hear the whispers of his cousins next door through the walls. It was a bit distorted but clear enough for him to understand.
He didn’t expect that it would co in handy so soon. He felt sorry for the robot as it had to keep listening, only then its audio information could be sent back to the command center. Although the device was equipped with a quantum communication module connected to the communication server, the server hadn’t been launched yet. So, for the ti being, they had to use the robot’s ear.
However, the robot didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary the whole night, only breathing sounds. It seed that his uncle had a good night’s sleep.
Early next morning, he was woken up by Dou Jiao’s phone call, so he hurriedly got up to freshen up and then prepared to invite Dou Jiao for breakfast downstairs.

After Tang Qing quickly got ready, he knocked on Dou Jiao’s door.
"Just a mont," replied Dou Jiao from inside.
Tang Qing thought that her ’mont’ would be only around ten seconds, but it took her nearly five minutes to open the door. At that ti, she was in her cartoon pajamas, her hair was wet, and she was toweling it dry. It then dawned on him that the concept of ti for won was different from that of n.
"Why are you so early, boss? I just called you and you’re already here," Dou Jiao said, unembarrassed.

"Hehe, you’re not willing to wait for even for a while? That makes so sad," Dou Jiao said with an expression which seed to say, "if you say you’re not willing to wait, I’ll cry."
Seeing this, Tang Qing quickly surrendered and said: "I’m willing to wait, but hurry up, everyone is getting anxious." If I get teased first thing in the morning, I’ll probably spend the whole day in a daze.
Sun Chao and his group were not waiting in the hallway, their doors were always open, clearly prepared and waiting for them.
"We’ve got a while before the eting, don’t rush. We don’t need to set up the venue, we just need to get there on ti and sit down." Dou Jiao said matter of factly.

"Hey boss, are you sober yet? Still feeling unwell?" Dou Jiao asked.

"I really don’t know what your stomach is made of. I thought you were a slow drinker. Could there be sothing wrong with your body, want to go to the hospital for a checkup?" Dou Jiao asked worriedly. Even though Tang Qing said he was fine, Dou Jiao was still not reassured. She had never seen a person who could devour bottles of booze without facing any consequences. Even if his alcohol tolerance was good, his face should be red, his heart should be racing, he should be vomitting or at least have so kind of hangover symptoms.
"I’m really fine, my body’s in great condition." Tang Qing patted his chest and said.
What a joke. If my body is considered not well, then no one in the world would be in good health.
"Really? You’re not just putting on a brave face, are you?" Dou Jiao questioned.
"No, you can rest assured." Tang Qing assured.
"Hmm, that’s good." Dou Jiao nodded, saying that as a billionaire, Tang Qing would not play around with his health, unlike so ’unimportant’ people.
Next, Dou Jiao went over with Tang Qing the content that they didn’t finish last night. It wasn’t much, Tang Qing quickly noted it down. By the ti Dou Jiao finished packing, it was already more than twenty minutes later. They all ca down to the hotel’s first floor for breakfast.
The breakfast was naturally free, just a little limited in variety. Tang Qing didn’t mind, he and Sun Chao began chowing down. Dou Jiao and the other two Sky Eye female employees smiled as they watched the two big eaters. When they saw that the food was almost done, they voluntarily went to get more.

Tang Qing didn’t take the car for the short walk, instead, he and Dou Jiao walked towards the Dream lody Group. Watching the hustling commuters and people striving for livelihood on the street, Tang Qing was reminded once again of his bitter past life. He couldn’t help but sigh once more that being wealthy was indeed good, having the freedom to arrange his ti and watching others busy themselves, it was truly a wicked thought.
After strolling leisurely for about ten minutes, the group arrived at the residence of the Dream lody Group.
No matter what, the predecessor of the Dream lody Group was no small group company. They got land at a very good price years ago and built a 15-story office building. Thanks to its modern design, it hasn’t beco outdated yet. But in Tang Qing’s eyes, it was sowhat behind the tis.
The group’s signboard had already been replaced. From afar, one could see the four big characters of ’Dream lody Group’ and a simple group trademark. Tang Qing couldn’t guess what it ant for a mont. Those in design, especially abstract design, can draw out a whole bunch of reasons like dreams, goals, prospects, expectations, unbridled, open, inclusive and so on from every stroke. Quite ingenious.
PS: So people may think that Dou Jiao’s scenes are too many and her relationship with the protagonist is a bit strange. Let explain, how should I put it... Everyone’s used to seeing the ambiguous texts with the female lead, I’ve also seen too many, and I find it boring. So, I want to write about a pure brother-sister relationship.
