However, Pan Yue wasn’t happy about it. He hadn’t done anything disgraceful, he was just a bit naive at most.

"What do you an you’re not like ? I didn’t do anything outrageous either!" Huang Qi retorted defensively. He felt Pan Yue had betrayed him too quickly. Huang Qi knew that Pan Yue and Dou Jiao used to date back in school, but Dou Jiao’s family disapproved. They even sought Pan Yue out to tell him so. At that ti, Pan Yue, young and impulsive, broke up with JiaoJiao and went to the States for further studies. He only ca back last year and started a business with his family’s help.
This caused Dou Jiao to be at odds with her family. All her potential suitors were scared off by her, and she returned to her grandmother’s city to find a job. She’s been single since. Huang Qi, who had dated many won, could clearly see that Dou Jiao still had feelings for Pan Yue, and that Pan Yue still had feelings for Dou Jiao too.
