Nine o’clock in the morning.
Beijing Airport.
Liu Qian and Monkey were standing at the reception area. Not only was the soldier Tang Kai had lent to him arriving today, but it was also the day he was leaving for the United States. His flight was at half-past ten. Out of respect for this high-ranking figure, they didn’t go in ahead of him.
Both of them had their luggage, but Liu Qian clearly didn’t need to carry anything. Monkey pulled both suitcases. As long as the flight the soldier was taking wasn’t delayed, they would be able to rest for half an hour upon arrival.
Liu Qian didn’t find a place to sit, he just stood there, twisting his waist. After many years of sitting for long periods of ti, he had developed so problems with his lumbar spine, and since there was no way to cure it, he could only maintain it properly on normal days.
Looking at Monkey who was constantly craning his neck, Liu Qian shrugged helplessly and said, "Monkey, stop looking. Won’t you see him in awhile?"

"Hehe, I’m just excited," replied Monkey sheepishly. Even as he spoke, his eyes couldn’t help but dart around the crowd.
Liu Qian chuckled lightly and said, "I think that after half a month’s ti, you guys should have no problem becoming friends. Besides, even if he doesn’t teach you, it’s fine. After all, we’re living in a world of firearms now. No matter how strong one’s martial arts are, can it be stronger than those cold weapons?"
Having said that, he tried to comfort Monkey, as he had been in this excited state these few days. He feared that if the soldier ignored Monkey, it might give him a psychological blow.
"Alright, I got it." Monkey nodded, and his excited heart cald down slightly. He had envisioned a scenario where he wouldn’t learn anything in the end. After all, he had experienced a lot in his life and knew that he must be prepared for failure. But he didn’t want to give up this chance to beco stronger.

Liu Qian’s phone rang. The last ti he learned that Tang Qing’s ringtone was this, he also changed his mobile phone to this ringtone. After using it for a long ti, he found it quite handy. The urgent sound gave a sense of urgency and it was sowhat nostalgic.
As he took out his mobile phone and saw the number, Liu Qian smiled and answered the call. After saying a few words, he hung up.
"Monkey, don’t worry. It wasn’t him. It was Young Master Chai."

This was the super-wealthy second generation man he had t through Tang Qing’s dollars, Chai Ren. He was doing very well with his dostic business, which was mainly focused on resource-based projects. Moreover, thanks to his family’s connections, Chai Ren was involved in nurous mineral companies in many foreign countries, backed by large central enterprises. His family’s power was formidable.
His relationship with Chai Ren was pretty good, owing to a small favor he provided last ti and he had also understood what kind of a person Chai Ren was. Unlike those frivolous youngsters, he had spent several years in the army and was straightforward in conduct and character. This was why he dared to wait for that soldier here. Had he t soone with a bad temper, it would have certainly been unpleasant, but Chai Ren would not do that.
This ti, they’re going to the United States to discuss a project. Finding Liu Qian to be a trustworthy and capable partner, Chai Ren brought him along for the trip.
The project was about an iron mine in Africa with ownership rights held by an Arican company. The main purpose of this visit was to negotiate the acquisition with that company, for the company had left the iron mine unexploited for more than five years, which had drawn the dissatisfaction of the local governnt of that African country. They demanded that the company must start construction and mining this year, and must et a certain level of output. Facing a crisis in its capital chain, the Arican company didn’t have the capacity for exploitation, and thus arranged an auction to sell the rights to the mine.
Thus ca about the idea of Liu Qian and Chai Ren going to the United States together. They both projected a huge demand for steel in the dostic market in the next ten years, and believed there would still be profits even if the price was a bit high. Besides, there were many indirect benefits, and thus, they had prepared sufficient funds, determined to secure this deal.
"Young Master Chai, you’re here." greeted Liu Qian with a smile.
"Yes, good morning, President Liu. Who’s the person you’re waiting for?" Chai Ren asked with a smile. He had just heard that Liu Qian was bringing another person along but did not ask questions or appear irritated. If he were so petty, the family power, albeit strong, would not prevail. Born and raised in a military family, he valued being straightforward and not fussing over minor matters.
"He is a bodyguard I borrowed from a friend." Liu Qian explained.
"A borrowed one? Isn’t Monkey enough? Besides, we aren’t going to any dangerous place this ti, what are you afraid of?" Chai Ren enquired, puzzled.
A borrowed bodyguard? It would be surprising if Liu Qian couldn’t afford to hire his own bodyguard.
Liu Qian explained: "What Young Master Chai doesn’t know is that Monkey wishes to learn a thing or two from this man. Otherwise, just Monkey by my side would suffice. Initially, Monkey wanted to learn from your bodyguards, but given their important task of protecting you, I wouldn’t dare ask."
Chai Ren had heard such flattery many tis before, but when spoken by Liu Qian it was sohow pleasing. Yet, if he were to believe it, he would be a fool. No doubt, that person must have so special abilities, thus he couldn’t help but be curious and asked: "Oh? It seems like this person must be quite formidable."
