Just as Tang Qing was laying in bed counting stars.

The Pixiu Plan had begun.

After the soldiers destined for Africa got on the plane, the soldiers taking part in this plan also started boarding planes to various countries.

Of course, not all of the robots used in this iteration of the Pixiu Plan were newly minted. Many of them were borrowed temporarily from other tasks. Tang Qing’s budget simply wouldn’t allow for such extravagance.

Over the next week, these soldiers would be heading to the world’s top 100 ’gambling gas’ to ’withdraw money’. Depending on the size of the ’ga’, varying amounts of money will be won and imdiately withdrawn. This money would then be deposited into bank accounts that the soldiers had set up in their own nas. This would be done once a day at dawn and consolidated into a main account. This main account was set up by one of the soldiers, but was tied to the system, preventing anyone else from withdrawing money once it had been deposited.

As there was no longer any need to cycle through several accounts to exploit currency exchanges, there were now many spare bank cards left in various countries. These bank accounts will all be utilized as safety accounts, serving various plans.

If they could sense it.

The owners of these ’gambling gas’ around the world would probably shudder, tightening, well... everything.

They had been targeted by a pack of ’hungry wolves’.

Tang Qing felt no guilt ’taking’ their money, as they are not good people to begin with. The more they have the better. Although the money wouldn’t be used for charity, when it starts to generate profit it would benefit many common people.

Almost all of the Command Room’s plans adhered to a simple principle: to secure Tang Qing’s interests and ensure regional stability. No war usually equates to happiness for many places.

In order to increase the soldiers’ influence and reputation in these locations, charity on their part is key—especially for those intelligence analysts that have been arranged to compete in Africa’s political races. They need political performance as well. If they just keep plundering, their own buildings may not have a stable foundation.

If one of them happens to beco president soday.

Heh heh.

There would be no one who could dislodge them.

...

The next morning.

Tang Qing was having breakfast with his uncle’s family.

Qin Shiqi was chattering away, tattling on Tang Qing for staying up late and not turning off the lights. She would exaggerate everything, turning statents that could be made in one sentence into ten, with embellishnts and historical ’evidence’.

Tang Qing didn’t know what to say to this.

He continued eating his porridge in silence.

Go on and talk, it’s not like you’re using up my saliva, Tang Qing thought wryly.

The aunt could only listen to her eldest daughter’s continuous chatter, as there was no way to stop her.

Qin Yugang remained silent, glancing at Tang Qing now and then, his gaze heavy with unspoken words.

"Tangtang, did you have sothing to do with Liu?" Seeing that Tang Qing was almost done eating, Qin Yugang couldn’t help but ask.

"What?"

Tang Qing, confused, put down his chopsticks.

He genuinely didn’t know what Liu Qian had done.

Unable to gather any useful information from Tang Qing, Qin Yugang said, "Yesterday, Mr. Liu donated several police cars to our precinct. He was quite generous. I called him to thank him, and he casually ntioned your na."

Upon hearing this, Tang Qing understood Liu Qian’s intentions.

Pacifying gesture.

Last ti, upon his matchmaking, his second uncle, Tang Kai, had agreed to provide so supplies for his uncle’s precinct but it hadn’t been implented yet. Liu Qian had beaten them to it, and he was very fast too.

But Tang Qing was not about to admit any involvent, he shrugged and said, "Really, I had no idea, it was probably my second uncle—he’s in partnership with him now. Yes, that must be it."

He even nodded his head convincingly.

"Maybe so. It’s just strange, everything seems to be going so smoothly lately." Seeing Tang Qing’s denial, Qin Yugang didn’t press further. Regardless, it was a good thing. Just that recently, good things seed to be happening more frequently—the solve rate at his precinct had gone up, the peace and order within his jurisdiction had improved substantially, even the reports of petty theft had decreased to a fifth of what it used to be.

He gained recognition from his superiors, respect from his subordinates, and envy from his colleagues.

Society was peaceful.

Even the thieves and hooligans seed to have llowed out quite a bit. It was rumored that pickpockets who had operated here for over a decade had inexplicably moved to other parts of the city, as if they were afraid of sothing.

Quite peculiar indeed.

"You seem pretty pleased, don’t you?" Auntie chided her husband as she put down her bowl.

Qin Yugang quickly replied, "No, it’s just... never mind." He couldn’t share these rumors with his wife. He wasn’t the type to engage in gossip. Work was work, and life was life.

At this point, everyone at the table except for Qin Shiyu had finished eating. Not much could be done about it, as Qin Shiyu was a slow eater, always the last one to finish. Even porridge, which could typically be gulped down in one go, she would sip in two swallows.

She was overly dainty, you could say.

At this mont, Qin Shiqi’s eyes lit up, and she suddenly suggested, "Mom, since it’s the weekend tomorrow, how about we go for a stroll around town?"

"You want to buy new clothes again, don’t you?" Auntie gave her a sidelong glance.

"Not at all, I just want to get so fresh air." Qin Shiqi hurriedly denied.

Auntie broke into a laugh, "Fresh air? You really think I don’t know what’s on your mind?"

Qin Shiqi stuck out her tongue and giggled, "Well, there’s this large clothing store in the city that just opened. A bunch of my friends have been there and say it’s great. I just want to go have a look."

"You’re talking about Sheng Tang, aren’t you?" Auntie said with a smile.

"How did you know that? Have you been there?" Qin Shiqi said, surprised.

Auntie shook her head, "No, but it’s been all over the place lately, hasn’t it? I hear it’s a local company with a lot of clout. Their comrcials have been all over satellite TV nationwide. Our province especially, the ads are endless. I’ve even seen them on Channel 6 of CCTV. They must be making a fortune."

Tang Qing perked up at the ntion of Sheng Tang.

"So, we should go check it out." Qin Shiqi said excitedly. Just yesterday, she had received a coupon from Sheng Tang. She was the type of person who got jumpy with excitent at the re sight of a discount and wanted to use it as soon as possible.

"I suppose that’s fine. I’ve never been there either." Auntie agreed. Sheng Tang had items for all budgets, and most of its products were quite affordable. Might as well support a local business that has gone national.

Tang Qing also rembered those advertisents. It was Sheng Tang’s own ad campaign that had won the slot on CCTV Channel 6. However, he wasn’t satisfied. Advertising on a movie channel wasn’t valuable and did little to enhance the company’s image. Hence why he’d asked Chai Ren for advertising space.

"Bro, are you coming?" Qin Shiqi turned to Tang Qing.

"I have class," Tang Qing replied.

"You’re still attending classes?" Shiqi sounded disgruntled.

"I’m a good student," Tangqing responded, determined not to go. Otherwise, he would once again be stuck carrying bags. He was well aware of Qin Shiqi’s scheming.

Seeing that her ’bag-carrier’ and ’wallet’ wasn’t going, Qin Shiqi pouted, complaining, "Hmph, you bought so many clothes from Sheng Tang but never took with you once. You owe for the emotional distress."

Oh great.

Another reason found.

It seed Tang Qing rembered sothing. He went back to his room and ca out with a card, which he handed over. He had the card from his previous visit to Sheng Tang but hadn’t had a chance to give it away.

"Here, this is a mbership card. It’ll get you a discount when you go shopping."

Qin Shiqi took the well-made mbership card and examined it closely.

"How much discount does it offer?" Qin Shiqi looked up, puzzled.

"Not sure. I borrowed it from a friend, but it should offer a good deal." Tang Qing didn’t ntion the steep discount to avoid a barrage of further questions. Early in the morning, he just wanted so peace and quiet.

On hearing the ntion of a discount, Qin Shiqi’s eyes lit up, "That’s fantastic! If the discount is good, I might buy an extra item. Is that okay, mom?"

"Finish washing the dishes first!" Auntie promptly overruled her.

"Oh."
