Following the soldier.

The two examined the place carefully, and after a mont, they finally determined that this was a place specifically designed for detaining people. It was odd though, there were no guards in sight, and every room seed empty.

Walking was an echoic experience, crisp and loud.

The overall conditions were quite good, far more ’luxurious’ than any prison they’d seen before. Although it felt strange to praise a prison, it was indeed the case.

Not far in...

They arrived at a door. This door had no handle, no keypad. As they studied it in confusion, the soldier glanced upwards without making a move.

frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

’Click, click, click.’

The intense but minute sounds of chanical gears filled the air, and the door automatically opened. They looked up to see a security cara positioned nearby.

Seeing this...

The two furrowed their brows even further. It was apparent that the door could only be opened from the surveillance room and anyone inside couldn’t open it. Their chances of escape from this place were slim to none. They hadn’t expected this kind of ’high-tech’ security in Ling’s outpost.

After the door opened...

They found a staircase.

Up the staircase...

They finally saw other soldiers. However, there were only two, and they paid no attention to them, each doing their own thing. This puzzled the two n. Even their own peers seed indifferent, which suggested a lack of camaraderie.

More importantly...

They found that these soldiers weren’t ard. Not only were they lacking firearms, but there didn’t seem to be any batons either. Their waists were bare, with nothing hanging from their belts. There was an inexplicable strangeness pervading the premises.

Having passed through a deserted office area...

They arrived at a doorway. The soldier gestured at two facing doors and said, "One for each of you. Pick one. Go ahead."

Without responding, they exchanged a bitter smile and took a deep breath. What would happen next was beyond their control. They nodded to each other and entered separate rooms.

The soldier closed the doors and stood guard at the entrance.

The corridor regained its tranquility.

Inside the room...

As the mole entered the room, he saw a soldier in the sa uniform sitting at an iron table, smiling at him. The table was welded to the ground, as was an iron chair in front of him.

"Mr. Mole, please sit down."

This ’harmonious’ interrogation atmosphere was always applied by the soldiers. In the face of absolute power, there was no need for loud threats or any such theatrics. All that was needed was to break the other’s psychological defenses.

I ask...

You answer.

That’s all that’s needed.

This never-fail technique often involved bestowing enough respect, combined with hopelessness, to shatter a person’s resistance in just one strike.

The mole sat down, bemused but unshackled with no guard in sight. Just one seemingly harmless man across from him who didn’t even have a pen. Was this really an interrogation?

While the Mole was still puzzled...

The soldier in front of him with a friendly smile started talking.

"Mole, real na Sen Ta, a native of the Papua province in Indonesia, 27 years old, single. Both your parents died from an attack in 1995, and you beca an orphan. From 1998 to 2000, you served in the Indonesian military.

In June 2000, after retiring from service, you were selected by ’Venomous Python’. After passing the assessnt, you joined ’Venomous Python’, becoming the mber of the 17th assassin squad established by the ’Venomous Python’ assassin organization.

You later participated in two internal assassin skills training programs, and once in the Madagascar ’Judgnt’ assassin training camp. Two years ago, your squad leader died in a car accident in Arica, and after passing the ’Venomous Python’ assessnt, you took over his position.

To date, you have executed 28 assassination missions. The first one.... The 28th one was against a tribal chief in the southern part of Tanzania. After hiding for two weeks, you attacked and killed the chief, who was trading weapons, at 3:17 PM on the 15th of last month, 500 ters southwest of the Kule River.

After taking a half-month vacation in the Maldives, you accepted the task of assassinating Ling, and arrived in Bangkok yesterday...

You are introverted and prefer solitude. You never kill the old, the weak, the sick, or the disabled. You excel in handling Arican weapons and are proficient in operating all sorts of transportation and weaponized vehicles. Your leadership abilities were not particularly evident when you initially joined ’Venomous Python’, but later...

Looking at Mole, the soldier was still smiling and slowly relaying his biography.

From the first sentence of the soldier...

The Mole’s eyes widened further and further, and his mouth fell open in shock. The forr squad leader’s calmness was completely gone, replaced by astonishnt and terror.

The opposing party not only knew all his information but could recite it all by heart. This could still be explained, after all, they could have earpieces. But the lucid account of each mission’s details, even his psychological growth and character analysis, instilled in him a deep-seated fear.

After almost twenty minutes...

The soldier finally finished speaking.

He smiled and said, "Mr. Mole, have I missed anything?"

"How... how did you know all this?" The Mole swallowed hard. Globally, only ’Venomous Python’ could have supplied all this information and then only if every shred had been captured.

The thought of ’Venomous Python’s’ every move being known...

Made the Mole feel ill at ease.

"Mr. Mole, there are no secrets that can be kept forever in this world. We have a few small questions for you, and you can supplent the content we’re interested in. If it’s worth it, your life will be sowhat easier from here on out."

Stair-step treatnt, it’s one of the rules here, without it there is no basis for negotiation.

Comparison.

It genuinely does bring harm.

"What do you want to know?" Mole managed to sound calm, though his tone gave him away.

"Your money and the information we don’t know about." The fighter said with a smile.

"Hiss...I didn’t expect you guys to be robbers too, hehehe." An intake of cold air made Mole laugh at the fighter’s words. An assassin ets a robber—what would that be like? Well, he was living it now. He, the assassin, was about to be robbed.

A truly ironic sight.

"No, Mr. Mole, this is just a penalty for ntal damage. You tried to assassinate our leader, shouldn’t he pay to settle the matter? With such a large sum of money, naturally, soone should share the burden."

This lie was naturally fabricated by those analysts.

No one who carried out this cleanup mission should be blad on Ling. A warlord conducting a military layout globally; the hypothesis was atrocious and over the top. Tang Qing had already found the ’scapegoat’, which was ’Tongtian’.

Now is the ti.

To let ’Tongtian’ make its own sound in the world. This wasn’t abrupt because many people already knew that ’Tongtian’ had branches all over the globe, and currently, Black Prison was only active within Africa.

They shouldn’t appear to people prematurely.

Previously, ’Tongtian’ was used as a website for money laundering, debt collection, and tasks related to security and searching for items. This ti, Tang Qing planned to give ’Tongtian’ a good exposure.

Upon hearing the fighter’s words.

Mole smirked disdainfully.

"Settle things? Hmph, and here I thought you guys truly understood our assassin organization. Let tell you the truth, even if you have this data, it’s useless. Once we accept a task, we must complete it, never giving up unless we die. Even if you pay, it won’t be canceled.

Furthermore, even if our assassin organization does not accept it, other assassin organizations will take over. You should know that Ling has offended too many people and is too strong. Do you really think anyone can settle this issue?" Mole said, jeering.

All assassination targets get assessed for their danger levels before we undertake the task, not everyone can be killed. For instance, high-ranking officials and leaders, as well as influential entrepreneurs and public figures—we don’t undertake those tasks.

Doing so would spark massive social repercussions, potentially leading to our own demise, especially if the officials are from different countries. Provoking each country for money is not sothing we’d do.

As for the public figures.

The main goal is to avoid being betrayed by peers, and then due to local pressure, countries jointly hunt them down or suppress them.

Other than that.

Pretty much anyone can be killed.

As for Ling.

None of the assessnt standards point towards not killing him.

The fighter remained unphased, his face kept a gentle smile, as he slowly said, "Mr. Mole, to persuade you to give up, it seems I have to reveal so information. ’Venomous Python’ assassin organization was established fifteen years ago by an Arican arms dealer, Henry Alis.

He was active on the Middle Eastern and African battlefields in his early years, and later switched careers to gradually develop the assassin business. Fifteen years ago, he founded ’Venomous Python’. Now it ranks among the top ten assassin organizations in the world, with its headquarters in a three-story building in San Francisco, USA, registered as an Internet company..."

The fighter continued.

This ti.

Mole genuinely gasped, the outside world remained warm, but his heart was getting colder by the second. Previously, he only thought the opponent had invaded the ’Venomous Python’ database or bought information from intelligence organizations, just knowing so information about the assassins.

But now it seed, the opponent knew far more than he imagined.

In less than ten minutes, the history, internal structure, mbers, address, and so on of ’Venomous Python’ were laid out before him. If ’Venomous Python’ lost its concealnt, it would face a disaster.

Mole swallowed his saliva, touched the non-existent cold sweat on his forehead, and concealed his panic.

"Are you prepared to use this information to negotiate with our boss?" Mole asked curiously. Although he didn’t know who his boss was, all the other information was completely accurate and he believed it.

"No." The fighter shook his head with a smile.

Mole was stunned, and the fighter’s next sentence almost scared him to death.

"We plan to make your boss disappear."

"What?"

Upon hearing this, Mole ’swished’ up and pointed at the fighter, speechless for a long ti.

"You, do you know what you’re saying, you want to kill our boss? But even so, soone else will take over ’Venomous Python’ imdiately. Any of our directors have the potential to take over ’Venomous Python’." Mole said gravely.

"Mr. Mole, I forgot to tell you, it’s not just your boss, but all you ’Venomous Python’s’, three assassin organizations that participated in the assassination of ’Ling’. Everyone who should die... will die." The fighter’s smile was sowhat eerie.

With that said.

Mole’s legs gave way.

Almost falling flat on his butt, everyone who should die... will die.

What did he just hear?

These guys want to annihilate three assassin organizations?

Is that what they call settling things?

They dare to openly talk about annihilating three of the top ten assassin organizations in the world, are they sure today isn’t April Fools’ Day?
