2006.
January 1st.
Sunday.
The new year had arrived.
According to Huaxia tradition, it was not the real New Year until after the Spring Festival. The New Year’s Gala at Fudan had ended last night, and as expected, Tang Qing and Lin Jiaxue’s piano and flute ensemble, along with Zeng Rou’s dance, had truly amazed the audience.
It brought about a long-lasting round of applause.
But it was the n clapping for the beauties, and the won for the handso guys.
Sotis, this thing actually has nothing to do with talent, it’s just that irrational... After the gala, many people were inquiring about them, and when they found out the two were a couple, a chorus of glass hearts shattered.
...
New Year’s Day.
The school had a three-day holiday.
Tang Qing had no travel plans for these days.
Because he had basically visited all the surrounding areas of Shanghai before, first being shown around by Shen Yi, and later accompanying Ayman, there really were no attractions left that interested him.
Especially now, during the New Year’s holiday.
The tourist spots were crowded with seas of people.
This was not about seeing the sights; it was about seeing heads. Not interesting at all.
Early morning.
Yunxin, as usual, pedaled her lady’s bicycle over.
She arrived at Tang Qing’s villa, parked her bike at the entrance, and walked in with her small bag. She used to bring her drawing board and sketchpad, but after Tang Qing’s strong request, she didn’t need to bring anything anymore because everything was ready here.
"Good morning, Mr. Tang," Yunxin greeted with a polite smile.
She initially called him Boss Tang, but after saying it so many tis, Tang Qing felt increasingly uncomfortable with it. Yunxin was not his subordinate, and calling him Little Tang was also inappropriate, so "Mr. Tang" beca her current address for him.
After so long.
She felt she had fully grasped Tang Qing’s personality.
"Young talent" adequately described the billionaire youth before her. He and Lin Jiaxue were truly a handso couple, their poetic romance the dream of all won, yet achieved by so few.
"Good morning, Teacher Yunxin. Jiaxue is already waiting for you in the art studio," Tang Qing said as he looked up from the company docunts with a smile.
"Okay, I’ll... go up right now," Yunxin said with a slight hesitation in her voice.
Tang Qing imdiately noticed and asked with curiosity, "Is there sothing you would like to talk about, Teacher Yunxin?"
Yunxin didn’t expect Tang Qing to be so observant, detecting her hesitation from just a brief pause, after thinking it over, she mustered the courage and said, "Mr. Tang, I want to thank you for taking care of during this ti.
I’ve earned quite a bit of money and especially after eating the precious food from your ho, my heart functionality has greatly improved. Today is New Year’s Day. Tonight, my family would like to invite you over for dinner as a way to express our gratitude."
"Dinner?"
Tang Qing chuckled.
It was just a al, yet it was made to sound like a big deal.
"Sure, no problem. If anything, I’m taking advantage of this. You’re making it sound like I’m at a big loss, haha," Tang Qing agreed. There was free food on offer, why not go?
It might not be as delicious as what the fighters made, but it was still a gesture of goodwill from the Yun family, especially since Yunxin had tasted the als at the villa. To reject the invitation now would be to blatantly look down on their family al.
"That’s great. I was afraid you wouldn’t fancy our simple fare. Thank you," Yunxin breathed a sigh of relief.
Having tasted the food made by the fighters at Tang Qing’s house, she knew there was a significant gap. She was worried that Tang Qing would refuse. If he hadn’t asked her just now, she would not have ntioned it and could have brushed it off by telling her father that Tang Qing was busy.
"Why would I? You go teach Jiaxue first, and we’ll definitely co over tonight," Tang Qing said with a laugh.
Yunxin cheerfully acknowledged and headed upstairs.
Lin Jiaxue was already waiting for her at the door of the art studio.
Watching Yunxin go upstairs,
Tang Qing continued to look down at the report on the computer.
The company monitoring reports issued by Tianyan and the Command Room all ca from other companies, while those from the Command Room included Tianyan. Overall, everything was running smoothly.
But the end of the year had arrived.
And with it, a flurry of activities.
All the companies were incredibly busy, summarizing, reporting, making plans, and applying for the amount of the annual bonus. However, Tang Qing didn’t need to worry about these things. He just had to sign the docunts.
At the end of the report,
Tianyan, on behalf of all the companies, had applied to Tang Qing for this year’s company annual eting date and venue.
Tang Qing glanced over it and agreed.
Since he owned too many companies, it was impossible for him to attend every single one’s annual eting, as if he were running from one to the next. And without Chairman Tang Qing present, the significance of the annual etings would be greatly diminished.
Therefore, Tianyan proposed to combine the annual etings of all his companies to make it a grand event.
The location was set in Qingyan City.
The reason was simple.
First, Tianyan had a ready-made Great Hall, and while dining wasn’t possible, holding a eting was not an issue.
Secondly, among Tang Qing’s controlled enterprises, three had their headquarters in Qingyan City—Tianyan, Sheng Tang, and Zhongyu Special Guard. Only Cot Entertainnt was in the Shanghai Stock Market, and as for the two companies abroad, it made no difference whether they ca to Qingyan City or to the Shanghai Stock Market.
The date was set for the twentieth of this month.
By then, Tang Qing would have already been on holiday and returned ho.
This annual eting was naturally incomparable to the previous one held by Sheng Tang Group.
This ti, just the people from Sheng Tang Group alone numbered over fifteen hundred. There was nothing to be done about it; there were over six hundred design staff at Sheng Tang Group’s headquarters, plus several hundred store managers and branch employees, and a few hundred more from the factories in the developnt zone.
Fifteen hundred people, for a company with nearly ten thousand employees, wasn’t considered overly extravagant, just a typical number. In the end, the total number of participants in the annual eting exceeded two thousand three hundred.
Tang Qing was actually quite shocked by this number.
So many people.
Was it really necessary to make such a big display? Money wasn’t the issue. An annual eting couldn’t cost much; a few million RMB would be the limit, and even if it were ten million RMB, Tang Qing wouldn’t blink an eye.
After such a long period of stimulus, only amounts in the billions would make him hesitate for a mont.
But to do so,
It had a bit of a nouveau riche’s show-off feel.
However, upon recalling the word "cohesion," Tang Qing no longer hesitated. Indeed, it was a bit showy and not in keeping with his usual low-profile style, but it was also a good way to enhance the company’s cohesion.
It would be good for everyone to et and facilitate future cooperation and communication.
Moreover,
The employees’ joy needed to be expressed. Tang Qing might want to be low-profile, but his employees might not all think the sa way. Work, aside from money, also brought a sense of recognition and pride that could give them motivation.
Tang Qing could remain modest externally,
But internally, modesty wasn’t necessarily a good thing.
...
Just after Tang Qing approved the annual eting request,
No more than five minutes passed,
Emails were sent out to the presidents of all the companies under Tang Qing’s flag. Looking at the content of the emails, they further disseminated the information, starting to prepare performances. Although Tianyan Group was the organizer, and the plane tickets didn’t need to be booked by them, there had to be programs for the annual eting.
One program for each company.
For the remaining ti, Tianyan planned to invite celebrities and professional event planning companies to take charge.
Three million RMB in preparation funds.
And these days, spending that sum wasn’t easy.
