As soon as Bai Haoxue stepped out of the small wooden cabin, it started raining heavily again.
But she did not return imdiately; instead, she made her way toward the deep pool from yesterday.
There must be herbal dicine in this forest, and she needed to find so for Ji Hanyu to treat his wound quickly.
After searching for a long ti, Bai Haoxue finally found a few plants of herbal dicine at the edge of a small slope.
This herbal dicine has the effect of activating blood circulation and healing wounds, which will be imnsely effective for Ji Hanyu’s back injury.
Having gathered the herbs, Bai Haoxue was very happy, but going down was not as easy as going up.
The slope was about twenty ters high, and Bai Haoxue had used the surrounding small trees and grass to climb up.
Soti, she inadvertently brushed against a sharp wild grass, slicing a cut into her delicate hand.
The increasing rain made the steep slope more slippery.
Suddenly, Bai Haoxue lost her footing and tumbled down the slope. Midway, she hastily grabbed at a nearby plant, thinking it was a small tree, but it turned out to be a thorny bush.

As she passed by the deep pool again, Bai Haoxue finally took in her surroundings. Below was the deep pool, above it a small creek, surrounded by a serene and beautiful environnt. Morning had truly painted a picturesque scene with clear mountains and flowing waters, filled with birdsong and the scent of flowers.
Catching sight of fish swimming in the creek, Bai Haoxue’s eyes lit up, and she hurried to catch them.
In fact, the deep pool below teed with larger and fatter fish, but unable to swim and fearful of deep water,
Bai Haoxue had to settle for catching a few smaller fish in the creek above.
Having found both herbal dicine and food, it was a great harvest. Bai Haoxue carried the fish and the herbs back to the small cabin.
When Ji Hanyu woke up, he didn’t see Bai Haoxue and searched all around the cabin for her, but she was nowhere to be found.
Just as he was about to set out to look for her, Bai Haoxue returned, looking quite a ss and carrying a few fish.
Even though she looked a ss, with her hair unkempt and her face smudged with mud and minor cuts, her spirits were high.
She ran over with a beaming smile, seeking praise from Ji Hanyu, "Look, I caught these fish! I also found the her..." herbs.
Before she could finish speaking, Ji Hanyu pulled her into his embrace, his breath a bit ragged and his heart racing, "Bai Haoxue, you damned woman, were you trying to scare to death?"
"Hey, why are you so agitated? There’s no bad guy here, I must have left on my own!" Bai Haoxue pushed Ji Hanyu away, "Let go of quickly. I’m all wet and you’ll get your clothes wet too."
Ignoring her protests, Ji Hanyu assertively pulled her into the cabin and swiftly removed her wet clothes before she could even scream.
He had already wrapped his dry coat around her and adjusted it to fit snugly.
Though his face remained stern, Bai Haoxue felt a sweet warmth in her heart.
Only this fool would always be so worried about her...
