"Haoxue... I..." Jiang Kelan looked at Bai Haoxue, troubled.
Bai Haoxue leisurely picked up her coffee and took a sip. "Just a joke, don’t take it so seriously."
Bai Haoxue smiled faintly, yet found it imnsely ridiculous inside.
Did she think she didn’t know that she ca here pretending to apologize, but was actually trying to play hardball?
Why apologize if it’s clear she’s implying my show will be inferior to hers, Jiang Kelan’s?
If she’s so confident, let’s just wait and see!
"Haoxue, I just hope you can understand, I don’t want this small matter to affect our relationship."
"Relationship?" Bai Haoxue was a bit surprised. "Do we have any relationship?"
"Haoxue..." Hearing Bai Haoxue say this, Jiang Kelan clenched her fist, her face turning quite unpleasant.
Bai Haoxue, with a beaming smile, set down her coffee. "Goddess Jiang, although you are the dream lover of countless people, I’m not interested in girls; I’m a woman who loves n."
"You..." Jiang Kelan laughed, "After all these years, Haoxue, you’re still as humorous as ever."
"Humorous?" Bai Haoxue said, "Humor is a good thing; Ye Jinyan often says I’m humorous and funny."
"Jinyan?"
At the sudden ntion of Ye Jinyan, Jiang Kelan’s face turned even worse.
Bai Haoxue pretended not to notice, asking innocently and gossipingly, "Why aren’t you two married yet? You’ve been together for so many years; your relationship should be stable by now, so why not get married?"
"Married?" Hearing those words, Jiang Kelan’s eyes dimd, then she gave a bitter smile, but quickly returned to normal.
"Jinyan said we’re still young, and with my work situation, he wants to wait a couple more years."
"Oh, I see!" Bai Haoxue reacted as if she suddenly understood, "He must really trust you. After all, there are so many wealthy and handso n in the entertainnt circle who see you as a goddess. Doesn’t he get jealous?"
"You know him, he’s very reserved, if he’s jealous, he’d probably keep it to himself."
Bai Haoxue nodded, "True!"
All these years and still not married, who would believe there’s no issue in their relationship?
But, Bai Haoxue didn’t care about that. What she cared about was, "By the way, you’ve been dating Ye Jinyan for so many years, do you know the people around him well?"
"Why are you suddenly asking this?"
"Oh, nothing, just that one of his big projects had an issue recently. I heard a rumor that there’s a comrcial spy among the people around him. Since we know each other, I thought I’d give you a heads-up. If you’re familiar with the people around him, you might even help him find that comrcial spy!"
Bai Haoxue’s words were half true and half false, and since Ye Jinyan’s big project did indeed have problems, Jiang Kelan actually believed her.
"I’ll keep an eye out," Jiang Kelan said, "but it shouldn’t be that way, right? People around Jinyan are all strictly selected, plus, there’s that person’s oversight."

Bai Haoxue keenly caught the key point and asked casually, "Who is that person? To be rated so highly by you, is he perhaps even more capable than your Jinyan?"
With Bai Haoxue looking all gossipy, Jiang Kelan seed off her guard.
"He’s Jinyan’s reliable assistant," Jiang Kelan said, "Many of Jinyan’s decisions follow his advice."
"So capable!" Bai Haoxue suddenly said, "Could he be the comrcial spy then?"
"Impossible!" Jiang Kelan blurted out.
