"Ah..."

Jin Yan instinctively let out a scream, and due to her own weight, she fell over pletely.

"What’s going on?"

Tang Yue just heard Jin Yan’s call and thought whenever those two are together, they just argue, which is really just a verbal spat and nothing more.

Tang Yue, holding Chenchen, leisurely walked over. Hearing Jin Yan’s scream, she quickened her pace, just in time to see Jin Yan fallen on top of Lian Qingyang, in an ambiguous position...

From her angle, it looked as if the two were kissing.

"Chenchen, don’t look." Tang Yue instinctively raised her hand to cover Chenchen’s eyes, turning her body outward. She cleared her throat and said, "If you two really want to date, as an older sister, I won’t object, but Chenchen shouldn’t see such a scene."

Tang Yue said this while walking out.

Then, behind her, came an even louder scream.

"Ah..."

Jin Yan pushed Lian Qingyang away, supporting herself to get up, but the more anxious she was, the more mistakes she made.

Jin Yan couldn’t even stand properly and fell again.

Lian Qingyang’s lips were grazed by her. Just a moment ago, when their lips touched, Lian Qingyang was thinking, how could a girl’s lips be so soft?

The next moment, hearing Tang Yue’s words, even Lian Qingyang, who was usually thick-skinned, felt a bit embarrassed at this moment.

However, with Jin Yan repeatedly colliding into him, Lian Qingyang simply stopped moving. He lay on the sofa, his bright eyes watching her with interest, and the pain from his lips made him say, "Jin Yan, if you want to kiss me, just say so. Considering you’re not ugly, I might consider it."

"Consider my foot!"

Jin Yan’s face was blushing red with embarrassment. She punched him and quickly climbed off him, not even noticing her precious photo dropped from her hand, then got up and ran out.

In the yard, Tang Yue was holding Chenchen, wondering what had happened between those two, when she saw Jin Yan with her face flushed red running out. Tang Yue hastily said, "Xiao Yan, aren’t you staying for lunch?"

"No."

Jin Yan just wanted to find a hole to drill into, not thinking about staying for lunch at all.

Jin Yan ran very quickly.

Zhang Hualian stuck her head out from the kitchen, asking, "Xiao Yue, what just happened? Did Xiao Yang bully Xiao Yan?"

"Mom, you might be holding your grandchild soon." Tang Yue said with a chuckle.

Zhang Hualian looked towards where Jin Yan had just disappeared, walked out excitedly, and coincidentally bumped into Lian Qingyang ing out. Zhang Hualian said, "Xiao Yang, if you like her, just marry her quickly. Xiao Yan’s a good girl, I like her."

"Mom, you’re overthinking." Lian Qingyang was spooked by Zhang Hualian’s excitement. He really had no such ideas about Jin Yan.

"I think you and Xiao Yan look quite a match." Zhang Hualian looked at Lian Qingyang suspiciously.

Lian Qingyang shook his head, like a rattle, and said, "Mom, I don’t plan on getting married so soon. Besides, even if I want to marry, it doesn’t have to be her. She seems much younger than me."

"Jin Yan is twenty this year," Tang Yue reminded from the side. Looking at Lian Qingyang’s youthful face, she silently shook her head. Her younger brother, usually smart and vibrant, seemed to bee a fool in such situations.

Pride is satisfying for a while, but chasing a wife is a lifelong journey.

Tang Yue thought of this saying she read somewhere before and felt it perfectly suited Lian Qingyang now. He clearly liked Jin Yan, but his brain just wouldn’t acknowledge it.

Matters of the heart, they’d have to discover slowly themselves.

Tang Yue looked meaningfully at Lian Qingyang, saying, "Xiao Yang, don’t regret it later."

"I won’t regret it. She looks quiet, but you’ve all been deceived. Her temperament is quite bad, very vengeful." Lian Qingyang still remembered when he took Jin Yan home before, and she deliberately played a prank causing him to fall.

"Hmm, remember what you just said." Tang Yue’s meaningful gaze seemed to say to Lian Qingyang: You will regret this; you definitely will.

"Xiao Yang, what happened to your mouth?" Zhang Hualian said suddenly.

Lian Qingyang instinctively covered his mouth, his eyes darting, saying, "Mom, I accidentally hit it just now. Right, I need to head to the factory."

With that said, Lian Qingyang dashed off as if fleeing.

"Xiao Yang, you haven’t had breakfast yet." Zhang Hualian shouted towards his retreating figure.

Lian Qingyang waved without turning back, saying, "Mom, I’ll just grab something to eat on the way."

"Strange, all of them, so strange." Zhang Hualian mumbled.

Beside her, Tang Yue suppressed her laughter, saying, "Mom, that daughter-in-law, you’re certainly going to get her."

"I think Xiao Yan is really a good girl." Zhang Hualian indeed had a very good impression of Jin Yan.

Tang Yue nodded, as an outsider looking in, she thought Lian Qingyang and Jin Yan were truly patible.

After that day, Jin Yan made excuses not to e to Tang Yue’s house, and even if she did, she first checked if Lian Qingyang was around.

Tang Yue understood internally but said nothing, playing dumb to avoid scaring off her future sister-in-law.

And as for Lian Qingyang, he also used work as an excuse, going out early and ing back late, having no encounters with Jin Yan at all.

"Sis, these photos have been developed. This set is for Xie Ni, this set for us, and another set for Jin Yan." Lian Qingyang handed over three stacks of photos, saying, "These are family portraits we can choose from, see which one to enlarge for the living room."

"Xiao Yang’s photography skills have really improved." Tang Yue looked at the photos, all wonderfully taken. Her slippers did not appear in them. To her left was Meng Siyu, and to her right was Lian Qingyang.

Tang Zhengde and Zhang Hualian each held a child, and everyone faced the camera smiling, the picture of a blissful family.

"It’s a pity Xiao Jun isn’t here." Tang Yue sighed again, saying, "Let’s not enlarge this photo since Xiao Jun isn’t here; we’re not fully reunited as a family."

"Okay, let’s take a new one during the New Year, and then enlarge it." Lian Qingyang nodded, having no objections. In his heart, he really hoped for Lian He to be in the photograph too, only then would it feel truly plete.

"Sis, look, you, brother-in-law, and Zaozao, and Chenchen look so great, don’t you think?" Lian Qingyang flipped through photos of her with Meng Siyu and Zaozao and Chenchen. In the photos, she and Meng Siyu sat on the sofa with Zaozao and Chenchen each in their arms. There were several photos, both looking at the camera and smiling at each other, a family of four who, even just in pictures, exude the aura of a happy family.
