He simply ate a bun and drank a bowl of soup before returning to the inn to rest.
Song Yanling felt a bit hungry by noon, but no one ca to call her for lunch, making her feel even more aggrieved.
After waiting for another half hour, the door was finally knocked on.
Secretary Wu adjusted his glasses with a smile. "Comrade Song, at this hour, Vice Mayor Li hasn’t returned, so it seems he won’t be back for lunch. Why don’t we two go eat?"
