A quarter of an hour later, both n returned, each carrying a container of oil.

Song Qingqing laughed, "I’ll bring the chili over to you."
Fang Xiangxue also thanked her with a smile.
Qian Jun appreciated Jiang Xinyu’s way of unconsciously handling things thoroughly. People around her spoke highly of her; she wasn’t soone who took advantage. People like her could go far.
It was nearly one o’clock, the four of them returned to the compound. The two won went to wash up, and the four of them went directly to the eting room where they could sit and rest for a while.
The afternoon eting was attended by two mayors and two secretaries.
The eting didn’t conclude until four in the afternoon.
Jiang Xinyu saw several acquaintances, Shun Xueqi was one of them.
The two nodded to each other; it wasn’t the right place to talk.
Shen Xueqi had heard from Qiao Dongshan that Jiang Xinyu was back. He intended to visit her but felt it might be awkward. Shen Xueqi watched them drive away before going to find his bicycle.

Qian Jun dropped Jiang Xinyu at ho and gave her a container of sunflower oil, "Tomorrow, let Secretary Fang co pick you up."
"No need, I can walk there myself. No need to trouble you to pick up."
Jiang Xinyu carried the two oil containers into her house and started prepping.
She decided not to use the jars anymore since there were eight days left and the temperature was quite high. If she really left it in the container, it might spoil. Reluctantly, she prepared fifty jars.
Then she lit the tin stove, ready to make the chili oil.
Wang Ailing and her husband would surely co after dinner, so she used this ti to have her own dinner.
She hadn’t started eating when she heard knocking at the door, "Who is it?"

"That puts my mind at ease. I plan to save up my leave and take next year’s leave in advance to visit them then."
"I’m not sure if I can go during the New Year; the factory is too busy. I doubt Qian Jun would agree. If not, I’ll wait till March."

"No need, I’ll be fine. The kids are spending their first New Year away from ho. If you can go then, please do, they’re still young."
Lv Beiguang didn’t say anything. He just wanted to go with Jiang Xinyu, not necessarily during the New Year.
After they finished eating, Lv Beiguang saw the setup and knew Jiang Xinyu was going to make chili sauce.
