Jiang Xinyu didn’t care, no matter what kind of soup it was, it was equally hard to swallow.

"Co up and lie down for a while. There might not be a place for you to rest tonight."

"It’s fine."

"Hurry up and co." Jiang Xinyu rolled her eyes at Wei Kaiyun, acting like he was made of iron.

Wei Kaiyun smiled as he got on the bed, looking at his son sleeping sweetly beside him, and gently touched his cheek with his finger.

"Wife, this child will definitely be like Feifei in the future."

"That ans like ."

"Yeah, a handso guy."

Jiang Xinyu smiled with her lips pursed, knowing her appearance was just average, not as good-looking as Wei Kaiyun. However, Shi Jing and Feifei both inherited the advantages of both parents.

"You sleep for a while, you’ll have to keep watch tonight."

Wei Kaiyun closed his eyes with a smile, though he couldn’t really fall asleep. But he knew his wife felt sorry for him.

Their family was warm, Tian Dajiang sat on a bench, resting on the bed.

Last night his wife was restless the whole ti, and today he hadn’t had a mont to rest, so he was tired too.

The child woke up, and the couple didn’t notice until the little girl started to whimper and cry. Only then did Tian Dajiang groggily open his eyes and hurriedly tended to the child.

He really wasn’t familiar with changing diapers. The two previous children were always taken care of by his mom and wife, and he never got involved. But now, it was just him here.

So he clumsily changed his daughter’s diaper. Seeing the bloody stool, he was disgusted and didn’t have the courage to clean it, so he simply threw it away after changing it.

He saw his wife sleeping soundly, but the child must be hungry. Having no choice, he had to wake her up.

Liu Guilan was groggily supported up, looked at the child in her hands, then directly lifted her clothes to feed the child.

The little girl was extrely hungry, but Liu Guilan hardly had any milk. After the child exerted a lot of effort but got nothing, she opened her mouth and started crying again.

This made Liu Guilan start to cry again. How could this be? The previous two children were breastfed, and even though the milk wasn’t plentiful, it was enough to feed them until they were six months old. The milk usually ca in on the day the children were born, so how co it wasn’t happening now?

Tian Dajiang watched his little daughter cry terribly and had no choice but to mix so water and feed her with a spoon.

Once she had so water, the little girl stopped crying. Yet, she drank greedily, proving she was really hungry.

Tian Dajiang fed so, fearing the child couldn’t adapt, then stopped.

Liu Guilan still sat on the bed crying. What could they do? She touched herself, feeling only a bit of fullness.

Tian Dajiang finished taking care of the child. Seeing his wife sitting on the bed crying, he felt impatient.

"Alright, stop crying."

"I had milk before, why don’t I have any now?"

"It’s because you keep crying, your mood is bad, that’s why it’s like this. You need to regulate your emotions, or how will the child be raised? It’s eight yuan a month to buy formula, and it’s not easy to always find."

"Dajiang, what should I do? I can’t do anything right. I can’t even feed the baby now. I’m just useless."

Tian Dajiang didn’t respond to her. He looked at the ti; it was already five o’clock. The canteen should have food by now. He thought of getting sothing good for his wife to eat so the milk might co.

Liu Guilan watched her husband go out with the lunch box, and her tears fell more heavily. Now he doesn’t even comfort her. Is he tired of her? What could she do now?

As the little girl cried, Jiang Xinyu and Wei Kaiyun had already woken up. The child’s cries were too heartbreaking to ignore. Jiang Xinyu’s heart ached hearing it; this woman only knew how to cry and nothing else.

Turning her head, she saw her son still sleeping soundly and was relieved. If he woke up, it would be troubleso.

"Wife, are you hungry?"

Jiang Xinyu shook her head, "No appetite. Sister-in-law Li will bring fish soup later. I’ll wait a bit; you go eat."

Wei Kaiyun shook his head, "No need, I’m not hungry either."

Just then, the doctor ca to do rounds, and Wei Kaiyun pulled the curtain.

The doctor smiled at Jiang Xinyu, whose complexion was rosy, and said, "Recovering well."

"Doctor, can I be discharged tomorrow?"

"In such a hurry?"

"It’s just that there are kids at ho, a little worried." Jiang Xinyu didn’t ntion how uncomfortable she felt here because that would seem like a privileged person’s complaint.

"How is it now?"

"Looks bright red. Not much in quantity."

"Then I’ll co to check tomorrow morning. If it’s fine, you can go ho."

"Thank you, Doctor."

Wei Kaiyun escorted the doctor out, "Doctor, shouldn’t she stay a few more days?"

"Her body is recovering well. She can go ho, don’t worry. I’ll check tomorrow and then decide."

Wei Kaiyun thanked the doctor and ran into Sister-in-law Li at the door.

"Xiao Wei, I’m here to bring fish soup for your wife. I also made so pancakes, still warm, eat quickly."

"Thank you, Sister-in-law Li," Wei Kaiyun thanked with a smile.

"It’s nothing, all those good things were sent over by you."

The two went into the ward together. Jiang Xinyu greeted her with a smile.

"Alright, you eat now, I have to get going. If you need anything, just co by the house. Or should I co over tonight?"

"No need, I can manage myself, there are many people at ho. No need to trouble you, Sister-in-law Li."

"Alright then, how about chicken noodle soup tomorrow morning?"

"Sister-in-law Li, I can eat anything."

This Sister-in-law Li left with the clay pot for the midday al.

Wei Kaiyun hurriedly helped his wife drink the soup.

"Give a bowl to that family, give them more fish at, I don’t like it much."

Wei Kaiyun did not object but waited for the husband to co back before offering it.

This fish soup even had sesa oil, slled quite good, but lacked in flavor.

"Wife, do you want so pancake?"

"No, I don’t want to eat, you hurry and eat too before it gets cold."

Jiang Xinyu sipped the fish soup slowly.

Tian Dajiang ca in with a lunch box, slled the rich aroma, and sighed inwardly, his life couldn’t compare.

He bought his wife a bowl of noodles and an egg from the canteen.

"Lanzi, hurry and eat. It’s noodles."

Liu Guilan was hungry a long ti ago, especially slling the sesa oil flavor, saliva flowed unconsciously.

Hearing her husband’s words, she sat up, took the lunch box, and started eating.

Wei Kaiyun stood up, "Comrade, we have so fish soup here, please have a bowl."

"How could I possibly accept?"

"It’s okay, it’s all for the child. Don’t let the child go hungry."

Wei Kaiyun poured out the fish soup, with plenty of fish at too.

Then he went back to sit next to his wife and started eating too.

Jiang Xinyu brought pickled vegetables with at from ho, wrapped in pancakes, it tasted especially good.

Liu Guilan finished a big bowl of noodles, ate all the fish at, and drank the fish soup. Only after patting her stomach did she feel at ease, finally full.
