Jiang Ran raised an eyebrow.
That was inevitable.
No one is ever exactly as soone else imagines them to be.
"But thinking it through, I’m not surprised at all. This is normal for you."
"Soone with such a character couldn’t possibly manage such a big business otherwise."
"Running a small food shop, a clothing closet, and having decent dical skills, such a person wouldn’t have a weak personality and certainly has her own mind."
"Jiang Ran, you are remarkable."
Jiang Ran quietly listened to Jiang Zhi speak, giving no response.
Jiang Zhi continued, "But no matter how strong a person is, they still need family."
Jiang Ran nodded noncommittally, "You’re right, but I have family. Everyone living here is my family."
"They took in, provided for , let study; they are my support, my harbor."
She already had family, genuinely good family.
Even though they were not bound by blood, their relationship was unbreakable.
The relationships truly dependent on blood ties are the most fragile ones.
Jiang Ran’s words clearly dealt a blow to Jiang Zhi.
To be precise, they angered Jiang Zhi.
Jiang Zhi fixed his eyes on Jiang Ran fiercely, and seeing that Jiang Ran showed no fear, he directly shifted his gaze to Pei Huai, who stood to the side.
"Are you Jiang Ran’s husband?"
Pei Huai nodded, "Yes."
"I heard you just graduated university and haven’t been back for four years. Jiang Ran had a child and managed the business all on her own."
After speaking, Jiang Zhi stopped looking at Pei Huai and turned back to Jiang Ran, "Is this what you call family? Is this the support you ntioned? Your haven? If you relied on him, he might not even be able to save you from drowning."

One just stabbed him, and the other imdiately followed up with another.
"He’s your husband, if you didn’t an him, then who? Your son? He’s not even four years old."
"I was referring to my parents, and my siblings."
"They’re not blood-related to you; they’re your husband’s family."
"What’s the difference? Where have those with blood ties to been all these years? Where are they now? Even if, except for Little Jing, no one else in this house is related to by blood, what does it matter?"
