Only by fully understanding the aning, structure, and origin of a word can one rember how to read and write it more quickly and firmly.
After knowing how to write it, practice repeatedly to write it well.

Fortunately, Wang Cuilan and Pei Baoshan are not the type to rush for quick success.
The two of them aren’t even at the point of neglecting food and sleep.
They do whatever needs to be done each day, and after finishing their tasks, instead of weaving bamboo as before, they take up a pen to write.
By the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, they had only studied for a little over ten days but had already learned more than a hundred common characters.
They not only recognize them but can also write them.
When writing, each stroke is careful. It may not be beautiful but is very neat, making it easy for anyone to recognize the characters.
Even at their age, Wang Cuilan and Pei Baoshan have such dedication to learning. With them setting an example, Pei Shanshan and Pei Yang dared not slack off.

Their ti alone together was shorter than before, but they talked more than before.
In the past, when they were together, they were mostly silent.

They discuss Pei Yang and Pei Shanshan’s learning progress, Wang Cuilan and Pei Baoshan’s writing practice, and Pei Jing’s school life.
While discussing these, they occasionally include a few words about their personal situations.
Without Pei Huai needing to ask, Jiang Ran would share what she had been busy with each day and show him her newly drawn designs.
She would also spontaneously ntion new dishes she planned to make.
Whenever they have ti, they go grocery shopping together and then cook the new dishes.
If it turns out well, they give the dish to Pei Yang to add to the small eatery’s nu.
If it’s not quite right, they discuss the shortcomings together and plan improvents for next ti.
All of this happened without them quite realizing it. If Pei Huai hadn’t been focused on Jiang Ran, he might not even have noticed.
Pei Huai noticed the changes between them and felt happy about it.
Jiang Ran, on the other hand, hadn’t realized any of it.
She was simply too busy, occupied with various tasks from the mont she woke up until she went to sleep.
